We stayed at the property for a week. From check-in the staff at the Argentario Lagoon were friendly, welcoming and very professional. Our room was very spacious, well kept and clean, and here too the particular attention to detail was evident. The swimming pool is definitely a plus, as is the quality of the food served. The breakfast is very varied, and the tart is truly a delight for the palate! The lunch and dinner options were also of an excellent standard. We found professionalism and kindness in every person who works here: from the maitre d', to the waiters, to the bartender, to the chef, to the cleaning ladies, etc. The only small flaw, we would have liked to find proposals (culinary and also in the selection of wines) that better reflected the area and Tuscany. In any case, if we were to choose to return to the area, we will return here: the location surrounded by greenery, the friendliness of the staff and the attention to every detail made us spend a completely relaxing holiday. We stayed here for three nights recently and enjoyed ourselves.
My husband, daughter and I had a suite. This was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Check-in was quite friendly but slightly chaotic for a hotel of this standard and price range. It did not feel 100% professional, rather chatty/hit and miss with some information being forgotten/glossed over.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the pool is amazing and really relaxing. We loved our time spent around it and the shady areas were appreciated. It was the best part of the hotel. At times, some guests had just left towels on the loungers so it wasn't always clear which ones were available - a pet hate of mine since I love to be in the shade.
My husband said the gym was a bit dated but ok. We didn't use the spa area. Generally, there are areas around which are now becoming slightly dated and in need of maintenance. Everything was ok for us but again with the level of the hotel and high prices, everything should be perfect. E.g. there were some broken floor tiles, corridor lights not working.
The restaurant was expensive but the service was attentive and we enjoyed the food. We received only ate once at the hotel for one evening given the high prices and enjoyed discovering additional places in the nearby towns.
The hotel did not feel covid-secure overall. Staff hurriedly pulled their masks up when we approached the reception desk and the manager (I think?) rode about the hotel on the scooter without a mask and walked through corridors without a mask. Mask wearing was not enforced in the restaurant though almost all guests wore them inside when collecting food from the buffet.
There were big bowls of chopped fruit with spoons and knives to cut break which any quest could use. I felt this was not so secure and felt uncomfortable with this. Other hotels we stayed at during our Tuscan holiday changed have bought dishes to the table to avoid exactly this risk. As other measures were not happening, I did not feel I would be taken seriously if would mention these concerns to staff.

We spent a night in this Resort, chosen especially for the presence of the spa that in our opinion is a bit poor, there is only a very small pool with hot water in which the whirlpool lasts too long. The other pool in the spa has cold water like that of the outdoor pool (I suppose and hope because it is summer). There is also a Turkish bath that is switched on only on request. The structure overall is very nice and the staff is really nice. It is a good place to relax for sure but for the fact that it is a 5 star and for the prices I think there are still some things to improve and add.

hotel is somewhat secluded but 15 minutes or less from any major attractions. They offer free pick up and drop off at nearby beaches, restaurants, train stations, and towns. The staff were all very friendly and professional. They were always ready to help. Maria, the front desk girl, helped us book our dinner reservations, beach trips, and town visits. I will tell you my experience and try to be very brief. I booked the most beautiful room to stay with my family in complete tranquility in August. I even paid an unsolicited advance of over 60% before arrival and then settled on arrival (the first thing they asked me on arrival). Unfortunately arrived my son had serious health problems that saw us forced first of all to go to the hospital in Orbetello and having had no solution we had to give up the holidays only after 3 days. The case was known in the hotel and at my departure of course it was not my intention to have returned the money, but simply to have a Voucher that can be merged with a possible stay valid for at least a year. Nothing, I had to pay all the extras, ok there is, and I had a 3 day Voucher valid October 12, 2024 subject to availability.

We chose this place for relaxation in the middle of the week. What can I say, we managed to break away from the routine of the city by immersing ourselves in this paradise.. the welcome and kindness of the staff are at the level of the structure, Mr Jacopo explained to us all the services of the resort including the activities to do such as tennis or paddle. Great stay, uncrowded pool and spa very comfortable, King suite fabulous in size and elegance in addition to the possibility of personalized whirlpool. Staff very welcoming and kind.
