Old building in awfull condicions, cocroaches, cracked walls, leaking shower tub, cracking plaster on the walls, humidity moss in the bathroom, heating too week. Food and services extremely basic. Great location for a nature resort, but too deteriorated to be restored

Great place for some peace and relaxation. Stunning views and good service. We took a customer with us her for a workshop. The location is good for this activity as no-one can run off and hide ;-) This is a mountain hotel, so don't expect a 5* sleek and stylish city hotel. Good for the purpose and good price/value for... Signor Tomas and his staff provided a really enjoyable stay. The lounge with the fireplace is a nice spot to drink a good glass of wine. After our dinner the fireplace in our room was burning. Looking over the rooftops you have the feeling of being in a real Andalucian pueblo!

My husband and I have just spent two wonderfully relaxing days in the beautiful countryside around the Alcazaba de Busquistar hotel. The hotel was quiet but we were still very well looked after and the staff were exeptionally attentive and helpful. The fixed price meal in the evening was delicious and beautifully cooked, so much so we decided to eat... More

Hello, I'm writing to you first to make my complaint about this hotel. This hotel is an absolute joke, I arrived after 2pm on Saturday, and the room was not ready the reception was full of smoke from the open log fire they requested I go for lunch and return, and as their restaurant was closed until 4pm each day... Never come back to this ugly, cold and cheap hotel. The manager and owner is a racist old man that will yell to you if you want to complain about something like the heat that never turned on. Isnt a 4star hotel. Should have less then 1star. the GROUPON deal its fake.

When I received the details of the hotel I saw the size of the village on the map and didn't bother checking the hotels whereabouts. Big mistake. it's the other side of the valley around lots of wiggly roads but when we got there it was definitely worth the journey. Lovely hotel and only 2 other rooms being used. Very... More

The Good: This place is beautiful to see. The views and rooms are all quite lovely. It is also a very quiet place, situated about 3 miles outside of Trevelez. On a lark we found this hotel with NUVI. We enjoyed the food, especially the local olive oil and wines, especially the ham! (BTW, you cannot take ham through customs... More
