I was travelling myself to Duras - I booked a double room for single occupancy with shower - exactly what I got. Very small but adequate for one person - super clean but basic. Beautiful hotel, swimming pool lovely and staff exceptionally helpful. I didn't eat in hotel but according to folk I spoke to food good. Location of hotel...

We dined twice at the excellent restaurant earlier in May and the food was gorgeously presented and absolutely delicious. We recently dined at a top Paris restaurant - Le Ciel de Paris - and the fod and service at Les Ducs was clearly superior (by a significant margin) - and while the meals were not cheap by Duras standards, they...

Delicious food - inventive and beautifully presented. Fabulous for a special night out - maybe not for everyday! We were all delighted with our various and varied courses. All the generations of the Blanchet family are incredibly friendly and helpful. Tranquil setting - perhaps a little formal for some.

The hotel is charming and well situated for exploring the town of Duras. The room was clean, tidy and had plenty of space for a family of four. infact it was two rooms linked together - ideal. Facilities are good including a nice swimming pool. However the restaurant lets it down a little. The food is pretentious - looks charming...

We stayed one night in this hotel in the charming town of Duras on our way to the South. We thought it perfectly adequate but the rooms are tiny, thank heavens we booked two separate ones! Bathroom is also very cramped. But decor is good and everything very clean. We ate in the restaurant, which was good but not outstanding...

We stayed at L'Hostellerie des Ducs for three nights. We found the staff to be pleasant and the restaurant food was excellent. Breakfast consisted of a selection of pasties, fruit, yogurt, cereal and coffee/tea. We ate dinner at the restaurant on our first night and ordered the 47 Euro set menu, which consisted of a range of traditional French dishes...

The hotel was very pleasant, with nice terrace and pool, and comfortable room, but it was the food that really marked it out. The aperitif on the terrace included delicious canapes, and, dining there twice, we were able to sample both the gastronomique meal and the simple 14 Euro menu. Both were excellent. Beautifully presented, tasted superb and were really...

This is the only hotel in Duras - part of the Logis de France chain. Conveniently located in the centre of the town and next to the tourist office. Friendly but somewhat inconsistent service during my 4 day stay there. Smart restaurant serving classic cuisine. The meal I had there one night was okay.
