To start with, we were given an extra room to feet better, with no extra expenses at all. Both rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and a completely equipped bathroom.
Our hosts also granted us with a wellcome drink, which turned out almost a complete dinner!
The next morning we could taste a delicious breakfast with crêpes and homemade marmalades. Just perfect to get ready to hit back the road!
Easily found using the Google map from TA/Booking.com, but not so easy with a GPS which took us to the next street !
Excellent, secure car park with plenty of space.
It felt as if this was a new venture for the owners, who were welcoming, pleasant and spoke very passable English. We arrived early for a local lunch with friends, but were welcomed, which is not always the case in France, and shown our rooms.
The garden is obviously on the to do list, but didn't bother us as the purpose our stay was simply a good bed for the night. The house has recently been made over in a very modern/white style rather than a rustic French style.
The bedroom was large, clean and bright complete with a lighting system option that could quite easily have doubled as a youngsters disco if you had a mind to switch to this option. Given the size of the room we were rather disappointed with the size of the bed, which was a double, but no more. For us it wasn't particularly comfortable. Our room faced out over the village/main road, so was somewhat noisy in the morning. Best to ask for a room on the garden side of the property.
The bathroom was again bright, a modern and functional fit out with good shower water pressure.
The breakfast room was large, bright and well equipped. Breakfast itself was to a decent standard without being exceptional. Not sure if dinner is offered, if not there's a very good Les Routieres restaurant just across the road or a more upmarket establishment just around the corner in the old mill building across the street from the river.
Excellent value for money.
Thanks to Michel for giving us your address.
I will not fail to give your address if I have the opportunity.

Furthermore, even though I had booked 2 days before, he pointed me to the Amis restaurant for dinner, which was closed in the evening! Great welcome, thank you for this concern.
To escape, change jobs or calm your ardor with chamomile!
