Hotel Alicia is a well run hotel offering everything that is shown on the TUI website, the hotel is kept immaculate by an army of cleaners, reception staff were always polite and helpful , TUI reps on hand every morning for any help or advice. Food is a buffet at breakfast and dinner, no issues with ‘cold food!’ All food was prepared and replaced during service if dishes ran out ( wether it was earlier or later service ) always plenty of choice which changes every night. Sarah’s restaurant offered al a carte once per stay but if there is any spare tables a second visit can be taken on the day of request. Sunbeds! Sick of reading negatives about this, we were up between 8-9 and you could always get a sun bed , on the roof terrace you had to be up at 7-30 to get a sun bed but there were always the larger double beds available presumably as they offered no shade this suited us. Entertainment was varied as in most resorts Abba again not to be missed…let your hair down and have a dance ! The resort is great next to a marina plenty of choice for eating out prices compare with English restaurants and bars. Great holiday had would recommend, don’t get hung up about negative food and sun bed issues on trip advisor they are not an issue here. sea view room is fabulous with sunrise every morning all recently refurbished rooms sea photos on TUI they reflect the rooms perfectly .

After getting lost trying to find the small village of Le Bono, right outside Auray, I made my way to this hotel, owned and operated by a lovely French husband and wife. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with private balcony and tv. the bar has a lovely deck overlooking the water. The village of Le Bono is downhll, about 1/2 mile away with several shops and a restaurant or two.

Welcoming hotel with good parking and very good location for events at Chateau Karisper. Breakfast was OK but perhaps a little expensive for what you got - coffee machine was really slow, Very short walk to the restaurants in Le Bono. Hotel staff were very helpful e.g. lent cutlery for a picnic. Excellent for our needs (staying close to the wedding location so we could walk from the reception). would have rather had the option of a one-night stay but found plenty to do around the area (we stayed three nights). .

The view from the room and the balcony was beautiful, and exactly as shown on the website. It was hot outside, so being downstairs meant we could leave the balcony doors open during the night and have cool air come in. No traffic noise at all. The bathroom isn't very big but it worked well enough. Having drinks available from the bar was handy at night after dinner. The restaurant doesn't have dining facilities other than breakfast, which we had on the last day given we had a long drive ahead of us. The baguette was superb. This hotel is highly recommended and we'd gladly return here next time we're in the area. Receptionist had excellent English.

Louisianne at the front desk was awesome- very knowledgable and helpful. All of her recommendations were spot on. Between her guidance and the great location, we were happy with our stay here. Our room was small but had a lovely woods and bay view.

This was a last minute find. The room was very comfortable & clean. The breakfast was good in a pleasant dining area. There was some private parking at the front of the hotel. We found a very nice restaurant in a small village about 10 minutes walk away.

We spent 5 nights at the Hotel Alicia in August 2015, the staff were friendly, speaking English when needed, and the rooms were clean and simple, although a kettle would have been nice! The hotel looks out over the pretty little port and you can walk into the village of Le Bono which has a couple of good restaurants/bars and a nice boulangerie. Nearby Auray has loads of lovely restaurants.

We stayed here for two nights. Beds are comfortable; room is clean as simply designed as you would expect in France. Bathroom is great sized. Reception team, both the lady and the gentleman are extremely helpful sharing their best places to visit, eat and discover. Breakfast option is great and they always replenish even before closing. Definitely made us feel valued and I would love to return again.

My 95 year old mother came with us. We had booked a room under the roof for three people but it was one floor up with no elevator. They immediately changed the one room for two rooms:the only one room on the ground floor (it has a large bathroom with a seat in the shower and easy access to the lovely breakfast room) and one comfort room downstairs. They put my wife and I in a downstairs room which they had upgraded for free (room 5). The room was small, but had a balcony overlooking the port. Absolutely gorgeous. It was quiet. The bed was comfortable. Wifi was fast. The staff sat down with us and marked down on a map what was a must see around the area since we had five days here. The hotel does not have a restaurant, and the continental breakfast is abundant but with nothing cooked. Great coffee.
