We spent three nights in the yurt with a family of four. The area is beautiful, the yurt very secluded, there were horses and a donkey in front of our tent and the forest surrounding it is very tranquil. It's a really beautiful getaway. There's also a very nice pool (with wooden lining, making it feel very different) and lounge area. Staff was very friendly and had suggestions about what to see in the area. We were not very happy with the price/quality ratio though. The web site says "A romantic glamping weekend? A family holiday?" and we feel it was suitable for neither. The yurt is pretty but has no amenities. Not having power or water isn't a problem to us, but it also had no storage space, no cutlery, no plates or glasses. For a family holiday, kids at some point need food. There is also no place to do dishes. The who area feels very secluded and it's a perfect place to be alone with the family, but you'd have to do without a glass to drink your wine from. We explained to the owner that with "glamping" we'd expect a combination of comping with a bit more luxury. Apparently they do not want to be a camping, or do anything that's typical of "glamping" and we felt mislead by their website. We got a very condescending e-mail back insinuating that we were probably better off on a campsite with slides and stuff. We thought we explained quite nicely where the mismatch came from, but were taken aback by the rude mail. The staff on the site itself was very nice though, they lend us plates and cutlery and understood that paying 280 euros for a tent alone was maybe a bit steep. We saw two other families leave who had similar experiences. It's true, if you read the website carefully, you might make out that the yurt is kind of small, and the fact that there is a cupboard there doesn't mean you can open it to store your stuff in, and the fact that it doesn't have a kitchen may also imply that you don't have any glasses or cutlery. And you don't have to mention that there's a train driving right next to the yurt, but hey. But it's just not what you expect for that price and calling yourself "glamping"..…
I spent one night in a transparent bubble placed in the trees. The experience was magical. The bubble was very convenient; we had the option of removing the top completely, leaving only the transparents plastic layer, or keeping both the opaque layer and the transparent layer. The ventilation system was also very nice (there is a mosquito screen). I would recommend, it was a great experience!
Excellent moment of zen attitude, in the yourt Djikdjik.... what a wonderful place, lovely staff excellent food and a place that allows you to just relax ... Two days away from it all and we felt like it was a week, a very special place. We had our wedding anniversary here, couldn't have chosen better.
We had a great Easterholiday in treehouse Folenn. Thanks to the great staff and the beautiful surroundings we and our kids from 1 and 3 enjoyed sleeping in this special place. Dihan is close to sites like Carnac, Cairn de Gavrinis and other worth-visisting places. I would definitly recommend this place to anyone looking for an eco-friendly, quiet and fulfilling holiday.
Beautiful room. Peaceful setting. The staff was friendly and provided me with excellent service throughout my week. I would love to stay at Dihan again! Thank you, Dihan community. I appreciate all the special care you offered me. Best wishes to all of you and to your new restaurant. ~T.R., California
