Our room was actually a good-sized studio apartment with a kitchen, dining area, sitting area, large bathroom, small walk-in closet. The bed was a normal bed. Plenty of room, a comfortable apartment. A good breakfast was delivered each morning & placed on a table outside the door of the apartment - eggs, juice, either baguette or croissant, jam, butter, coffee, cake. This chambres-hotes is on a dead-end road in a lovely rural area. The couple who own it are very nice...they do not speak much English, so brush up on your French before going. :) A good base from which to explore the Carnac area.
