I was booked to go to this site later this year but due to COVID19 i had to cancel , this was due to me having prostrate cancer and being advised not to travel due to the covid 19 risk i asked to cancel my holiday and move my booking to next year they would not allow me to move my booking to next year as my health was not a valid excuse due to the french sites now being open they instead said i could have my deposit back subject to a 20% charge plus an admin charge - i feel this was excessive in the circumstances i feel i necessary to write this review to make people aware of there lack of compassion to health situations !! Beware !!!

We have now visited the site three times and booked in for our fourth visit. First time was ten years ago before children, right at the end of the season, we had a peacful stay, and really enjoyed ourselves. Following this we stayed again following the arrival of two children, stayed in a chalet, and then the next year camping with a trailer tent. Beaches are always lovely, pool is clean, facilities and all pitches well kept and a great size. water and power all worked well, and the wifi was available. The children are really happy here and the site feels safe, there is some through traffic, but children on bicycles use the roads and cars are aware. Have been high season and out of season, there is more going on high season, but the beaches never felt cramped or like Bank holiday Bournemouth !! For food shopping there is local, and a short trip to larger markets. daily bread and croissants are round the corner at the mini shop. We love this site and it is almost an issue as the kids are so happy we keep going back. Access by ferry is about two hours from St Malo @ four hours from Caen, le Havre add an hour. Recommend chalets and pitches, very good communications with the team on site, genuinly friendly.

Staff was nice, they were leaving, we were late and they still signed us in. The facilities are nice and clean ! The landscaping is beautiful. We were off season so it was quiet.I wouldn't come here in high season with the game rooms sport courts etc ... A bit too many mobile homes to my liking since i'm a tent guy... The only real disappointment is we stayed in the orchards and everyone comes and brings their dogs to to their thing quite annoying...

Great campsite, not many pitches, more lodges. All very pretty and well kept. The pool was never horrendously busy. Lovely shower block. Only downsides were the showers wouldn't go quite hot enough, but we wonder if this was because the weather was pretty cool and wet while we were there so we needed warming up! Also, shop and restaurants all just off site, not far at all, but you couldn't send the children on their own if smaller as roads to cross. Restaurants limited, if we'd stayed more than a week we would have been bored with the food unless we drove a bit further away.

This was our first time visiting Les Embruns and we weren’t disappointed. The campsite is beautiful and very well maintained, with hedges and flowers separating pitches. The staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. The toilets and shower blocks are spotless and are cleaned twice a day. The pool area is fantastic our 4 children loved the pool and slides. It’s a lovely walk to the beach through the village. We couldn’t recommend this campsite enough.
