A paradise 15 minutes from Alba. The property is surrounded by a beautiful hazel grove with a view of the hills. As soon as you arrive you perceive the beauty and tranquility of the place. An ancient farmhouse expertly restored and cared for in every corner. The staff (for us Elena) welcomes you very well and ... you already feel on holiday. Our room was a bit dark but with an adjacent and comfortable garden. Very clean and quiet. The indoor pool is gorgeous, overlooking the hills and a stone's throw from the comfortable deck chairs. Everywhere there are chairs and tables so you can enjoy in every way the potential of the structure. An added value for us was the bar-restaurant available from morning for breakfast to evening for dinner but also for snacks, aperitifs or something to drink that you can also receive by the pool. Excellent breakfast with 0 km products such as hazelnut cream produced on site. To conclude, the property is totally pet friendly. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful relais located in Borgomale a few km from Alba. This is a completely renovated former nineteenth-century farmhouse nestled in the hills, with a priceless view. Large and spacious Superior rooms with exposed stones, ours with a small garden. Impeccable cleanliness. Beautiful hotel housed in a renovated farmhouse, in the hills near Alba. Beautiful location overlooking the valley, very well maintained garden. there is a bistro where you can eat simple but typical dishes. Beautiful indoor and heated pool (little heated, Recommendation to raise a few degrees the water temperature). Impeccable service, nice reception girls and very helpful, even the rooms are very clean. We had a suite of generous size, very nice. Too bad for the bathroom that was tiny with toilet attached to the shower (we're skinny we got away with it, but a bit 'sturdy I don't know how it would...); I understand that a suite to be such must have 2 separate rooms, but sacrificing the bathroom to have a corner with a sofa does not seem the right choice. Recommendation to change the blackout blinds because they let too much light through. Comfortable car parking, Recommendation perhaps in the future to prepare a canopy or a hail cloth in case of a strong storm. Beautiful place and absolute tranquility, recommended.

Great breakfast and very friendly staff, large room, quiet and comfortable, great location and the degree of cleanliness. I do not give 5/5 because the beautiful swimming pool that provides a regulation where racing, diving and squawking are prohibited is actually a sort of "miniclub" where it is impossible to relax and take a swim due to racing, bomb diving almost on you and continuous screaming; perhaps we were unlucky to stay at the same time with parents without education and respect for others but I simply described in detail our experience and the minus point is due to the fact that none of the staff has ever intervened to bring the situation back within acceptable limits. Recommendation for couples looking for a little relaxation to think twice while it seems ideal for families with children.

Wow. What a way to begin our week long bike ride through this beautiful area. Old farmhouse turned into the loveliest spot! Rustic on the outside but elegant and well appointed but not stuffy or overdone. Super friendly and helpful staff ( who answered questions and helped me book restaurants before we arrived- kudos to Michol and Alice)wonderful breakfast, beautiful patio to sit and enjoy a glass at day’s end(complete with snacks!) Nice selection of local wines (and cocktails if you wanted) Comfy, cosy and just my cup of tea. Would love to return. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful structure, excellently organised. Very kind and knowledgeable staff, swimming pool that lived up to expectations and well-equipped outdoor relaxation area. The breakfast was good and the small dinner we had the evening of our arrival was also not bad. Clean, comfortable room and, fortunately, well soundproofed given the proximity to the outside of the bar where a large family spent the late evening mistaking the public area for their own dining room... unforeseen circumstances of the trade. A wonderful family night Arriving at the relais, finding a beautiful and spacious room, we immediately went to the swimming pool. A true oasis of tranquility. Stayed one night at this hotel - having seen a slick web presentation of their facilities. We had called and asked for a room with a view - when we saw the room - it was a view of the backyard - hardly the rolling hills of Piemonte. The management changed our room, but then informed us that the phone lines in the whole village were down, the credit card machine was therefore down and we had to pay in cash. The lines were so down that they still managed to book us a table at a restaurant in the same village. So on checking out I called the hotel from my mobile, the phone rang and the receptionist sheepishly answered. I just resent being lied to.
As for the hotel itself - it appeared that they were working their assets very hard - rooms were very small and the bathroom minute - you had to be a contortionist to even close the door (room 29) and there was construction all over. Location wise, it is some way from the vineyards, so if that is your interest, best to stay somewhere else.
