Pound for pound, this is the worst place I have ever stayed. The “hotel” is just a block of flat situated in a fuel station. When coming from the north it will cost your 6 Euros to re-join the motorway to go back on yourself. It is impossible to find and when you do, your heart will stop pumping for a moment as this place is bad. The only place to eat is the nearby cafeteria in the fuel station and the rooms, OMG, they are the most Claustrophobic tiny rooms, with a décor from the early sixties. No fridge, no drinking water, no waste basket, and the tiniest bathroom I have ever seen. To be able to fit the toilet they had to install it so close to the wall that you are literally unable to wipe your you know what. There were not enough towels, the floor was dirty, and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed ever. We complaint to the staff but they were less than helpful and then there is the price! Totally overpriced and description on Hotel.com as wrong as advertising a shed as a five-star Hilton. Never again. Do I not have anything positive to say about this place? Yes, I do, I only had to stay one night.

The property was in need of some TLC with a weed patch instead of a garden,a black ring around the pool and an excessive amount of wasps. The rooms looked like they had been cheaply renovated recently. The only restaurant close by was an autoroute stop. The indoor parking was the only positive.

A basic but clean hotel which is incredibly convenient as is located on the A9, 10 minutes from the French / Spanish border. They also have the option of renting a secure garage for the night which is great if you have a car load of luggage. Don’t expect fine dining, as the ‘restaurant’ is part of the service station.

A bed for the night after a nightmare journey was all I and my two dogs needed, and I was relieved to find this place at the first opportunity after arriving over the border from Spain. The welcome was friendly, and my dogs posed no problem, but at twice the price I had paid the night before in Spain for very similar accommodation. €13 per dog seems rather excessive! The room was fine, but no kettle to make myself a drink was frustrating. No mini-bar either. Only rooms with showers are offered: no baths available. The bed was comfy but the pillows were thin and uncomfortable.

Our last stop after 1 month travelling, most expensive and the worst. The hotel it self was ok, small rooms, very basic. The receptionist was so unfriendly it bordered on being rude. If we hadn’t been so tired and needed to stop for the night we would have gone else where. There must be people who would love her job, she was certainly not right for the job. I was quite upset by her attitude!

Have stayed here a few times over the last 15 years. This is a great hotel, rooms are basic, however hotel has lots of facilities, supermarket, restaurant / cafeteria, swimming pool, garages for cars, service station, gift shop and great walking areas. Staff are so friendly, check in is easy and swift, all perfect. A great pet friendly hotel to relax after a long drive. Rooms really are basic, even a little dated, but spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and good sized bathroom. Ideal for a night or 2 right on the border with Spain.

€99 for a room that makes Travelodge look like The Ritz. Small dated room in a poor state of repair and doesn’ look like it’s seen a lick of paint for a least 10 years. As for the so called restaurant that’s a whole other story. My husband and son-in-law paid €15.95 for a steak that wasn’t even fit for a dog it was so gristly and fatty. I couldn’t face any of the hot offerings so paid €4.50 for a small bowl of tinned (yes, TINNED) fruit as the fresh fruit was past it’s best. Never again. If you’re smart you’ll give this place a wide berth.

We checked in after looking for a decent hotel, after a 14 hour drive. We’re a family of 7 but there were no (4 person) rooms left, so we took (2x 3 person) rooms instead. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable, there are nice modern bathrooms with shower and some basic stuff (E.g. 4x towels, hairblower, mirror, tv, INCLUDED WIFI etc.) Perfect airconditioning, lamps beside every bed. And not to forget the beautifull sight when swimming in the amazing pool after a long trip. The water is really hygienic not too warm and neither too cold. Staff is really friendly and calm, also responds if your french isn’t the best. The only side note is that the rooms don’t have a small fridge for cool drinks.

We were traveling from Barcelona, Spain to Carcassonne in France and as we had started of very late we needed an overnight stop. We chose this place because it was advertised as ‘Pet Friendly’ which it was. We were travelling with our small Griffon Bruxellois dog. The reception had no problems with our late arrival and were most welcoming. The room was clean and functional with good facilities. We slept well, including our dog! The lovely grounds around the hotel were ideal for a quick dog walk in the morning. Breakfast was a self serve buffet which was fresh and adequate. Recommend for travellers as it is just off the A9 near the France/ Spain border.
