Apart from a rather negative response from one staff member when we arrived needing help to find a local car parts shop – staff were very helpful. Room a good size with ensuite. Parking onsite and train station a short walk away. Good facilities and breakfast included with as much as you wanted.

I stayed overnight with my family, the hotel is nothing exceptional but the location is excellent for visiting Barcelona. There is a train 5 minutes away which takes you to the center in half an hour. The return train ticket for 4 people costs 10 euros. Good breakfast. After a day spent in Barcelona you can have dinner in Saint Cougat where there are numerous restaurants.

We spent a week in this hotel and were very satisfied.
You have to know that the hotel is located in an office area. There is nothing around it! The nearest shop to buy anything is about 1.2km away. The nearest train station is 800m away and there is a small bar/restaurant right next to the hotel, but it is closed at weekends.
We were satisfied with the room, the breakfast, the service and the internet. The small bar next door invites you for a drink or a meal.
Only the room cleaning could be a bit better. But basically the room was clean.

I recently booked a two-night stay for two rooms at the Holiday Inn Barcelona-Sant Cugat through Expedia. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel my reservation. Despite informing Expedia well in advance, the hotel strictly enforced its cancellation policy, resulting in no refund.
While I understand cancellation policies exist, the lack of flexibility, especially considering it was my first cancellation and the additional cost of losing my flight booking, was disappointing.
This experience has impacted my perception of the hotel's guest-friendliness. Future travelers should be aware of the hotel's strict cancellation policy, particularly if unforeseen circumstances might arise during their travel plans. Please avoid this hotel ,and find more flexible one.

Thank you for th upgrade to a Suite absolutely fantastic surprise after a long journey. Checked in by Albert who was very helpful.Platinum amenity dispensed at the bar by young chap was great and very much appreciated. Ordered Dominoes as very limited Food options no issue but did want a full open lobby menu but as we had a suite pizza on the balcony was fun. Rooms spotless and well maintained overall a great stay.

The hotel is clean and new, however it lacks some facilities to justify its 4 stars, no fridge in the rooms, no bottles of water available in the rooms either, we took our room there were paintings broken they were placed on the desk they remained as is, there were 3 of us the maid changed the towels she only put 2 back.
The worst of the worst is that the hotel takes a lot of groups, breakfast early in the morning is the equivalent of looting, I've never seen that!!!
It should be avoided for this reason, however the staff is very pleasant.

We stayed at the hotel during a trip. The Hotel is far from the city center, in what seemed to be an industrial area with no services.
The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was also in good condition.
The breakfast was good, with all the basic options, but not much variety. It was a little crowded, but there was no problem finding a table.
Parking was free, but the space is not very large. However, it seemed like finding parking outside was easy.
Reception said there is a train station nearby, but we didn't check it out.
Probably the correct rate is 3.5, but as it is not possible, 3 was given and seemed more correcta than a 4.

no air. in 2022 what hotel does not have air? this one. my surprise when i called down to find out how to turn it on.... breakfast is ok, but no eggs, they have frankfurters, cheese, bread and cereal. they use a capture for internet. i could not get windows to connect, ipad worked ok. parking is free.

Transportation from the Airport to Catalunya Sq.
The best and fastest option is by Aerobus. It takes about 25 minutes to get to Catalunya Sq.
From Catalunya Sq to Sant Cugat
Take the line S2, till Sant Joan station in Sant Cugat. It costs €2.70 one way and takes 27 minutes. There is a train approx. every 10 minutes.
From Sant Joan Station to the Hotel
Once arrived at the station, you will see an hospital “Asepeyo”, take the street at the left inside of the building, it’s a downward going parallel to the train ‘s tracks. This street ends in a small bridge, cross it and then you will see our hotel.
In the case you opt for a taxi, a cost approx. Worth €50.00 will be applied and it takes roughly 35 minutes from the airport.

A Family room in HIE property is double with a sofabed, taking that this property is a 3rd Generation Holiday Inn Express, the sofas could be quite old.
I would recommend booking connecting rooms instead.
