Still one of the most relaxing hotel we've ever stayed at. Really beautiful, old chateau - but rustic and not too grand. So many quiet, pretty corners to sit and read in; and genuinely pleasant staff. Lovely little villages nearby. The food has become seriously good.

Wonderful feeling dining in the garden with the trees providing some shade from the sunshine. The chef is a magician with food and provides a meal that is of the very highest quality and so, so flavoursome. Service absolutely excellent with staff determined to make visit memorable. Menu du Terroir is excellent value. Will revisit to stay in hotel.

The place didn't seem too busy when we were there and it made for a relaxing atmosphere which didn't feel too touristy. The staff were very helpful and did their best to speak english when...
