We having been visitng this hotel for about 20 years. Some rooms have recently been refurbished and new bathrooms fitted. There is a lift to both floors in the newer wing. The food is amazing and the service excellent. Go for the gastonomic menu. Good wine list. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for weekend break or longer. Lots to do in...

We often stay here for a weekend break. The restaurant food is excellent and very good value for money. Naedge the proprietor is always available for advice and nothing seems to be too much trouble. They have changed the breakfast menu for the better although the old option was ok. Rooms are quiet and sufficient and beds are very firm....

Our family have been going here for about seventeen years and it's always good. The food is good and all the staff and owners are very friendly. We've booked another two visits this year as its convenient for returning to channel ports

Welcoming and attentive staff, together with comfortable rooms, adequately sized and with good walk in shower. Excellent cuisine and good selection of wines . This was a good base for our party to explore the area. There is also a rural cycling route passing through the village. Tennis court available

Six of us stayed for two nights and the welcome, service and food were first class and excellent value. The only minor niggle was the electric heating in the room. A bit hit and miss to get it to work, but probably down to me after some fine red.

First visit here; lovely welcome and friendly efficient staff throughout the stay. Rooms are basic but very clean, nice big shower was lovely and hot. Ate here for all three evenings and enjoyed every meal, we ate three of the 4 set menu options. Portions are generous and cheese selection is fantastic. Great locations for exploring the local region. If...

We were looking for an overnight stay, not too far from the Tunnel and found this in the Logis book, we wish we had found it sooner. All the reviews you read are very true. Fully Recommended for food, accommodation and very friendly service.

We stayed just one night (wish it had been longer!). The food was par excellence - it was a St Valentines Day dinner- started with pink champagne and canapes, then lobster tails in sauce. Main course was either beef fillet (which I am assured was the best ever my hubbie had tasted - I had Turbot for the first time...

Spent two days here, using it as a base for visiting the area. Friendly staff, warm comfortable rooms (English TV for the Brits), excellent cuisine and wine list. Easy to find and very handy for the EuroTunnel & Calais ferries.
