We chose this hotel for its easy access to Cinque Terre by train (3 minute walk to station, 15 minute ride to Monterosso) and free parking. The included cold breakfast had everything: smoked salmon, cheeses, hams, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, muesli, fresh OJ and coffees. A dinner of fresh fish Ligurian-style was delicious. The room was large and well-equipped as...

I can highly recommed this hotel. Water in the pool is warm, atmosphere is relaxing and fine. And the best is absolutely the staff. They can help you with any case and they are so friendly. I haven't met the service like that anywhere! You can rent a bicyckle from the hotel for free. And of course...delicious food in the...

The Clelia Hotel is a family run hotel, very close to a nice beach. The rooms are on the small size, but very clean and welcoming. Amenities are provided in the bathroom, although they were not replaced when used. The bed had a comfortable firm mattress. The air conditioner did not work (it was spewing hot air), but in effect...

We want to drive to Cinque Terre, but we just had bad experience in Bacelona about car park, so parking in a secure and safe place is very important to us. This hotel is perfect location, it saves us lot of time to drive to Cinque Terre (we from Genova side), also avoid to drive in narrow, tricky montain road,...

We chose the Hotel Cleila for its location between Portofino and Cinque Terre with easy access to the coastal train and boat services to explore Liguria. The hospitality of Alessandra and the team was exemplary. Our family suite was newly decorated, spacious and very comfortable with a small private solarium, shame it was overlooked by the neighbouring apartment blocks. The...

We stayed here for 4 days at the end of a two week tour of Northern Italy. Lovely to arrive to the smiling face of Alessander. She is amazing and the hotel should be very lucky that they have her. Not only is she welcoming, but is a font of knowledge about the area, the trains, where to eat and...

We have just returned from Hotel Clelia, and really enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable with a bargain Mini Bar (€7 for a bottle of Prosecco!), and a good sized bed and bathroom. Very minor quibble was that guests are unable to control the air conditioning - it is either on or off, but it was nice and...
