The visit started off bad when the receptionist pointed down a dark corridor saying "The rooms are that way". I never did find a light switch. The room was lacking in some basics such as milk/whitener for the tea/coffee facilities, and no toilet paper. The television did not work apart from saying "updating TV listings -please wait". Breakfast was disorganised...

Rooms were clean and warm, staff helpfull & friendly, good value for money. Considering breakfast is complimentry it was excellent. Would reccomend this hotel to others. Had Sunday lunch and I must say for £5 it was tasteful & plentyful.

First impressions were good - we were given the 4 poster room and although very 80's in its chunky pine furniture and...

When we arrived all the staff were outside drinking and smoking, and it took a while for anyone to bother to come and check us in. There was no welcome. In fact we felt that we were in the way and spoiling their weekend, when in fact they spoilt ours. We had to pay in full then and were given our...
