This hotel did not disappoint on our second visit. It is comfortable and clean and the service provided by Daniel and his team is outstanding. The food is excellent and there is a good range of beverages to choose from. The location is great for exploring the local area and we had the delight of staying there recently during the madness of Karnival. The rooms are clean and a good size. And the bar and garden areas offer good spaces to relax and socialise. This hotel does not take children which is understandable given the quiet location that may not offer sufficient distractions for younger folk. Although smoking becomes less socially acceptable, as a smoker myself I have to record that all within the legal obligations, this hotel caters well for those who do still indulge. There are good smoking areas in the hotel grounds and most (if not all rooms) have a balcony with seating, where it is permitted to smoke. The ambiance created by the team makes this a real home from home for us - it feels like staying with family (that you get on with). Well done Daniel and the team - we will return soon!…

Just returned from a wonderful week with Edwards Coaches staying at this hotel. Danial (the owner) and his staff were outstanding, nothing was to much trouble. The rooms are clean, modern, comfortable, and the food and facilities are excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel and will hopefully visit again.

Stayed at this delightful hotel with coach party. Everywhere is clean, lots of seating area to relax in, and all the staff without exception are really friendly and helpful, we were made to feel really welcome. Food is very good, both breakfast and evening meals were well presented. Rooms were comfortable and it was good to sit on the balcony in the evening. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return. The manager was exceptional in his job, very helpful and his local knowledge was really interesting. We were really impressed with this great place to stay.

Impossible to find fault with this hotel. Travelled with coach party and had very interesting guided tours of the area. The hotel owners are delightful and helpful. The rooms are newly refurbished with balconies and good views. Food was good and plentiful. The spa and health centre were very well appointed with gym equipment, swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The village is small and quiet, so spent most evenings in the hotel's beer garden. All-in-all a very worthwhile experience.

We had a wonderful week at this hotel on the edge of the Bavarian National Park. It is truly a family run hotel that has just recently come into the Best Western grouping. The family and staff work really hard to make the stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The location is good for exploring the delights of the region. The hotel is clean and well maintained and provides good value for money. We were there as part of an organised group booking with set menus for evening meals which can sometimes mean disappointing food and accommodation. But this was not the case at the Antoniushof - the food provided at breakfast and evening meals was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the hotel people. Our room had a balcony (I think all or most rooms do) with a good view over the stunning local scenery. There is a beer garden, swimming pool and sauna provided, with additional well being services available at extra cost. Overall the service, quality, pace and atmosphere of the hotel ticked all the boxes for us and we will return next year. Although we visited in summer, it seems this is also a good location for winter activities for which the region is very popular. Be aware though that if a vibrant night life is what you seek, Schoenberg is a quiet village which is not a hot spot of night life - which suited us. Yes we do strongly recommend this hotel.…

Just returned from a holiday with Edwards coach holidays. Second year running we have been to the Antonioushof and it was even better than last year. Rooms have been upgraded and staff just as friendly hotel and rooms spotless. The hotel is family run and has a quaint look and feel. It has a small tea lounge area great after a day out. Will go again

Have just stayed at this wonderful family run hotel with Daniel Tamara and their lovely friendly family and staff I cannot praise the hospitality high enough. I stay in lots of hotel and have to say this is one of the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The program they arranged for us for our days out where varied and well thought out and our guide Veronica was very informative and friendly The hotel has an indoor pool gym sauna bowling alley which was a lot of fun some relaxation rooms to just chill out and much more They supply tea all day long in the tee bar the evening meal was delicious and the buffet breakfast set us up for the day I cannot praise this hotel and it's lovely staff enough So thank you so much for a lovely stay and we can't wait to return It's should be a 4 star …

Travelled with Edwards Coaches in South Wales. Third visit to this hotel in Schonberg.. The owners go out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. Thanks. This was our third visit to this hotel. All areas are very clean and well maintained. Lovely indoor pool and sauna area. We had an enjoyable evening bowling in the hotels bowling alley.. The rooms are large with comfortable beds. Large room with balcony.Views impressive. Meals were varied and tasty. A good choice was offered at evening meal. There was plenty of choice for Breakfast. They even had Tettley tea !! Enjoyed the holiday very much
