Went on 26th Nov, work's Christmas dinner, for £30 a head. starters were very poor & Cold, mains were cold except for parsnips, I think the main problem is that they ram as many groups in as possible and Then try and serve everyone at the same time, so if you happen to be on the last table you will...

24 for a Christmas works do so we had a variety of starters, mains and desserts, all of which were foul. Don't really know how to explain how tasteless, unappetising and cold these dishes were. Mains were served and left to go cold while we waited for vegetables to be delivered which most of the table never received! Salmon was...

Stayed at the Chichester last month with my husband for a weekend away. Perfect weekend, just what we needed. All the staff were so lovely and friendly, especially Steve the night porter. He was on hand for whatever we needed and was so helpful. Had a lovely meal at the restaurant which we couldn't fault. Lovely food and atmosphere. Will...

We stayed 2 nights while attending a family wedding. The room was nice and spacious, the food good even when feeding 100 at the reception. However the staff let it down: no mineral water (as advertised)? - get some from the tap was the answer: no twin room available (as booked)?- we must have got the booking wrong (thank goodness...

We have enjoyed coming to the Chichester for several years now, it offers good value for money and has always been a fun night, so when a party was recently organised, we had no trouble saying with going. However in the run up to the actual party night, it was very clear something wasn't right, with various communication breakdowns from...

Plenty of secure parking. Room was large and clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Free Wi-Fi. I had to attend a funeral and this was the closest hotel to the crematorium that had rooms available. Only 3 1/2 miles away. As I was going to arrive early I contacted the hotel to see if I could check in early...if...

Came here on an organised party night, shared with other groups. People were celebrating birthdays, retirements and hen dos. There was a set menu that we had to choose from before the night. There was a good selection for the three courses and the food was pretty good, especially considering the large number being catered for. After dinner there was...

I stayed here for two nights with my fiance whilst at a friends wedding in Rayleigh. The place is just dismal and stuck in the 1970's. The bathroom tiles had hairs on from previous guests and the walls are paper thin. We could hear snoring and music. Granted the night porter did move us to a quieter room, however all...

We booked a birthday meal here three weeks ago. Turned up at 12pm only to find the doors locked. We found a side door open, only to find the staff having a meeting. Not one person was prepared to help us. They looked at us like we were mad. We took our business elsewhere. Birthday meal partially ruined.
