We stayed at the Hostal Los Rosales in Alcaraz Spain on May 22, 2016. We checked in just before 2pm and met Elisa and Antonio, the owners. By 2:30pm we were in the dining room eating the most wonderful and delicious meal we had in all our travels in Spain on this particular vacation. The room was spotless and comfortable....

We stayed here for one night en route to Ubeda and one night on return to Alicante. The owners are a very friendly couple. The rooms are a good size but simply furnished with lovely views of the surrounding countryside from the balcony. For a one night B&B stay I would say it is absolutely fine and good value for...

Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Free car parking just outside, selection of local bars in this small town. No restaurant but you can have dinner served in your room priced at 35 euros for 2 people with a bottle of wine. Breakfast also served in your room and is basic but all you need costs 4 euros Overall perfectly adequate for...

We ended up in Hostal Los Rosales on our way to Segura de la Sierra and regret not staying on for several days! After ringing the doorbell the lovely owner showed up and gave us her best corner room, a spacious room with two terraces, one with table and chairs. She was ever so helpful, bringing us cold drinks and...

When we arrived mid afternoon it took ages to get someone to check us in. And when he did turn up Ivan only spent a minute handing over the key and then disappeared again. Later, some other guests arrived when I happened to be in reception using the WIFI. They waited about an hour and no-one came so then I...

A perfect place to spend a night in Alcaraz! Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Had a deck that looker out over the garden. The woman who runs the hotel is unusually gracious and generous. When I arrived in the evening, haggard and exhausted from a long day of riding, she gave me some pastries and a cold drink. Definitely recommended!

We arrived on bicycles and were welcomed like family. Our room was fabulous- big, clean and a great balcony with views overlooking the rose and veg garden as well as the surrounding area. We were thrilled to be offered an evening meal which was one of the best meals we have had on our trip- homemade chorrizo, lentil potato soup,...

We were extremely happy with this hotel as it is situated close to the hidden gem of Alcaraz, a beautiful old village, tucked in between stunning hills. The hotel was very clean, very quiet and people friendly. We had a room with a view, which all rooms have, and our own balcony. The rooms are big and beds good, also...

We stayed in Alcaraz in November 2012. As it was low season, we were the only guests in the hostal. The owner was really friendly and gave us some useful information where to go for a small hike. She made a nice Spanish breakfast for us which we ate in the room. She was relaxed and so it was no...
