I had the privilege of spending 5 days/nights at Bellbird Lodge and I must say each of them was a delight. Where to begin? The attention to detail, in every aspect of the stay, was incredible. In fact, many 5 star hotels could take a page out of Anthea and Brian's book! From an initial welcome (to the intrepid driver...

We stayed three nights in March 2016. As a former B&B owner, it is hard to wow me, but wow me they did. Anthea and Brian went out of their way, from the time of booking, until after we left, to make sure that our visit was everything we were hoping for. The place itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained,...

My wife and I spent a few weeks traveling all over the country around Christmas 2015, hiking, boating, and adventuring. Our last night was spent at Bellbird lodge. It was a truly perfect end to the trip. Watching the sunset from their porch with a glass of wine while the sun went down over Tasman bay will be a lifelong...

Very friendly host, a wonderful breakfast, snacks and wine before dinner. Comfortable rooms and a beautiful view. The perfect place to visit the Abel Tasman. If we ever come again to NZ, we hope we can stay here again. W'll recommend this accomodation to all our friends.

During our seven week trip to New Zealand we stayed in 13 different B&B's and Bellbird Lodge was the best by far, our only regret was that we only stayed for 3 nights. Our stay was perfect, perfect, perfect. Anthea & Brian were excellent hosts, their attention to detail was faultless. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite which had stunning...

We travel on cruise ships quite often, and usually the more stylish ones that have a well-deserved reputation for the excellence of their cuisine. We also eat out quite often in good West End restaurants, so we know what we're talking about when we say that the breakfasts and snacks that Anthea and Brian offer their guests is of stunningly...

This place is absolutely gorgeous. It's situated on a hill, the views are fantastic and the house / b+b is amazing. We loved every minute of our stay. The breakfast was amazing the nibbles and wine tasting was a nice touch. The room was beautiful, bed very comfy and the bathroom very clean. Anthea and Brian were superb hosts and...

First, this area of South Island is stunning and is a must visit. Second, Kaiteriteri is a great location and base for looking around. Third, Bellbird Lodge is beautifully situated with super views - it is very comfortable - and with Anthea and Brian as hosts this is an unbeatable B&B. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite - possibly the...

This was the first B&B we've ever stayed in, and did they ever set the bar high! The property itself is gorgeous, situated upon a hill with beautiful gardens & an amazing view of water. Quite possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, it was wonderful! The breakfasts were to die for - some of the best food...

I cannot put into the words how wonderful this B&B is. it is outstanding in every way, from the view from the house, the decor of the room, the fantastic hospitality that we received from our hosts Anthea and Brian. We were welcomed after a long journey with a cup of tea and home made cake. The breakfasts were so...
