My nephew and I stayed 4 nights in one of the upstairs rooms with two queen beds. We found the staff both at the hotel and the dive shop to be very nice and informative. The rooms are clean and also provide a sitting area outside on the canal. The rates are extremely reasonable for the Keys. The real bargain...

Stayed two nights. Reasonable rate, rooms are clean enough, no frills ( fyi no hairdryer). Another fyi, the Tiki Bar is on premises and live bands play until 11pm. Our room #2, was one of the farthest away and still could hear thumping of bass, etc. I wouldn't call this place a resort, more like a 60s motel with a...

My son and I stayed there while we went fishing. If you are looking for a cheap horizontal surface this place is for you. Relatively clean aside from the booger on the bathroom wall next to the toilet paper or the hair on the towel. The beds only had sheets on them but had blankets available. Had conch fritters at...

The Looe Key Resort is a rather average sort of place. There's nothing deluxe about it. If the creature comforts mean something to you, You may want to stay in Marathon or on Big Pine Key. Parmers on Little Torch is also a nice place to stay.

Did my open water check out dive with this company back in 2002. Great experience. I am now a seasoned diver who knows to check NOAA before I go out in the water. If you trust NOAA you don't GOaa (LOL). any ways booked a trip early March 2017 checked NOAA forecast knew I would be ill and they refunded...

We visited for a snorkel and dive trip for 8. We had 4 snorkeling and 4 diving. We called and ask about conditions and they said it was fine for snorkeling and diving. The snorkeling was treacherous at best. Very disappointing. We spent 39 dollars to set on the boat and freeze and watch people throw up. The Captain anchored...

Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry you didn't completely enjoy your trip. It's certainly no fun being seasick. But, as you say, we can't control the weather. We make our best estimate of conditions based on the available forecasts. If we could find a cure for seasickness or develop 100% accurate weather forecasts, we'd all be happier! There is no...

This is a review of the snorkeling... We took the snorkeling & diving trip this afternoon. It was a full boat. We had a really good time. The places they go to have awesome views and lots of different fish, including some huge grouper that come right up to the boat. The staff on the boat is knowledgeable and very...

After struggling to find accommodations that were under $200 in the keys, we found the Looe Key Reef Resort for $109 a night! The word resort is a stretch; they do have a pool and a good Tiki bar and restaurant (one of the best handmade margaritas I've ever had). We weren't expecting much though, and ended up being pleasantly...

We booked here for location to be able to explore the lower keys without being right in Key West. The rooms are very spacious with two queen beds, front & back doors, open back patio, and a great water pressure shower. The beds were ULTRA comfy and I am really missing them now! The rooms do need a little TLC...

We found this place by chance. Don't expect 5 star luxury, it is designed for the diving fraternity. Our room was a bit tired but spacious and good value for money. Go for a groundfloor room, overlooking the canals. Basic but good value, good bar with entertainment on site
