The host was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The full English breakfast was a highlight with delicious, locally sourced produce and was piping hot. All in all an excellent stay.
Don't come here if you're looking for cookie cutter place with 90 degree angles. It's old and full of character. Lovely bedroom and the owner turned the heating on in the room for us during the evening so it was warm when we got in....More
We stayed one night with our friends. The place is so interesting and different from the usual hotel/guest house we stay at. We all slept really well in the comfortable beds. Breakfast was perfect. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive.
My walking group of 13 descended on the tea shop with only 2 hours notice for tea/ cakes etc. Although working alone, our host provided us with generous portions of tea/coffee/cake. He was very welcoming and friendly. Brilliant! I had a happy group. Lovely garden.
There is no doubt this bed and breakfast with tea room has real charm. Thatched roof, narrow corridors it is charming.
I wonder however, how much the tea room is the real focus. Outside there is a quaint garden, it is located within easy reach...More
