My husband and I travel to Italy every years (I was born in Italy) and often visit Tuscany. For the first time we stayed at Le Cretaiole Agriturismo and our experience exceeded our expectations. Although we had good times at other agriturismos in prior years, we found le Cretaiole's experience far superior. The owners' approach really ensures that visitors get...

We stayed 2 weeks in Il Nido and absolutely loved everything about it. The "apartment" is clean and has everything one needs including hair drier and straightener on European voltage, clothes washer, great drinking water, everything one could ask. The hosts are truly there to serve you and are enthusiastic about your stay. If you sign up for the "La...

We spent a wonderful week in the hills of Tuscany using our Il Nido unit in Le Casine di Castello as our home base. This is one of three properties owned the Moricciani family from San Gregorio, Pienza. We were in a tiny village and got to feel like locals as the residents cheerily greeted us each time we strolled...

We are three - my wife, myself, and our 18 month old daughter. We stayed in Le Casine de Castello in Castelmuzio, IT. Really a wonderful experience. As we had done a ton of research previous to the trip, we thought we had a pretty good plan going into it. I would suggest running EVERYTHING by Isabella as her opinion...

The reviews of this place are spot on. we had both connected units for 4 people, couple, teenage son and grandmother. the layout worked perfectly. (not great if you have access issues, though, the combined units are on 4 or 5 levels) three bedrooms, 2 3/4 baths, two kitchens, living room. two terraces overlooking the valley. small laundry room (typical...

Too bad there are only 5 circles to award or I would give this a 10!!! This was the best possible experience in a tiny Tuscan hilltop town with a wonderful welcome package delivered by our hosts (the owners who live elsewhere and own several properties). We had the upstairs apartment with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a kitchen and a...

I cannot say enough good things about our experience staying in this lovely townhouse, and also about the entire week of activities available through the Cretaiole Agriturismo. All that has been posted in the other reviews is true. I booked our stay in the first place because Rick Steve's wrote that his week there was one of the best experiences...

Could not have asked for a better vacation. Entering our apartment in Castelmuzio, a small village in the Tuscan hills, we found it filled with fresh flowers and an array of delicacies on the kitchen table for our consumption. Isabella, our hostess, had thought of everything to make our stay a lovely one. We found travel guides she has written...

It's hard to add anything different(as they are all true) to the many glowing reviews already posted. I booked here on the recommendations of friends who had stayed here, and so I knew our visit would be great , but still our stay was beyond our expectations. We stayed in El Nido which was perfect for the 2 of us....

It was a very relaxing vacation, the accommodations were great, there were 4 of use and everything worked out great. Small village with a couple of places to eat and a grocery store. Located where we could drive each day to other villages/towns. Events were planned each day that we could chose to participate in if we wish. The host...
