We just saw pictures of the nice roof terrace and decided to have the recommended breakfast there. Because it was our honeymoon trip we wanted something special. It was worth every cent. There is not much around though it is a nice small village.

The hotel is in a gorgeous setting on a hill top town. Although we arrived late we were greeted quickly. The room was comfortable but small. The shower was fine and the wifi worked well in the room. The hotel restaurant is closed on Mondays! However, we found our way to Montisi, about 3km away, where we had a fine...

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Castelmustia Locanda in Castelmuzio. Looking forward to returning soon! The house wine was exceptional and food preparation fresh and superb! Finished off the meal with chocolate laba cake! Thank you Paula and Julia in the kitchen!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here on 28 May 2014.We ate exrtremely well and drank good quality house wine for a total for two at only 62.50 Euro. Lovely setting. We would dine here again next time we are in Tuscany Lovely to hear the bells!

We spent two nights at Castelmuzio as part of a week-long cycle tour organised by Inn Travel, who were fantastic to travel with. The cycle ride from Asciano was amazing, through medieval hilltop villages, and Castelmuzio itself kept this up - the hotel itself is in a tiny, ancient street next to the church. The bells in the tower chime...

We arrived here and checked in. Room was up lots of stairs. The room was so tiny and with our bags in we had little room to move but we were in for a shock. The ensuite was a sink with a toilet next to it, I mean it was only 1 cm away. No where to leave towels at...

Eat here many times during our stay in Castelmuzio whilst we stayed with a group of friends at a villa. Always had wonderful food here and the owner and staff are just delightful. Local house wine was good - food just great and well priced. Such a wonderful part of the world

This review is for the restaurant - not the hotel. Our meal here was the best we had in Italy and we had some very delicious meals, including a Michelin star restaurant. There is a homemade pasta dish with veal and truffle oil that was mind blowing. We also got a beef dish that was described as very spicy (it...

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a cycling holiday in Tuscany. Quaint, ancient village with this as the only hotel and place to eat. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The rooms average but clean and comfortable but the shower room was very small with the shower curtain touching the toilet. We were the only guests...

This hotel has smallish rooms and tight showers but the welcome we received was marvellous and although we had anticipated having to find a restaurant as it was a Monday, immediately we were offered a meal which was superb. All rooms clean and comfortable. Recommended accommodation for those seeking a stop-over as we were whilst walking in Tuscany.
