First of all, the structure is not at all modern as it may seem from the photos on the site, in fact many rooms have different doors from the others.
The water in the pool had a greenish color and was therefore inaccessible.
Before leaving, there were photos of the "gym" on the site which disappeared upon our arrival, so much so that the gym wasn't actually there, there are only some unusable tools in a hidden gazebo (I attach photos).
As for the food, it was a disaster, it was inedible, all the dishes had the same taste, without salt and only with a lot of oil.
They made us believe that the facility was full by making us book the room quickly but in reality once we arrived there were very few of us.
The entertainment also needs to be reviewed while the waiters were all friendly and helpful, in particular Christian and Paolo.
The beach wasn't that great either: broken umbrellas and sunbeds, almost making it seem like a free beach.
In short, the quality/price is not worth what the structure should guarantee, this is not a 4 star hotel.
The cleanliness of the rooms and all the environments is remarkable, thanks to Mrs. Domenica and the cleaning staff. For the rest, absolutely not rated as a 4 star, and having worked for almost 20 years in various tour operators, I speak with full knowledge of the facts.
The catering is close to poor: a full board (so defined) without starter and without choice of side dish (salad with fish and potatoes with meat), and finally a fruit (but exactly ONE per person) for lunch and a portion of semifreddo in the evening (always without any other option).
To make matters worse, if one can, was the overcooking of the first courses, which were also bland, so much so that many added "cold" salt or cheese to give a semblance of flavour.
Breakfast with nothing done at the moment other than defrosting and baking the croissants. Not even the possibility of a cappuccino or espresso. There were vending machines and I won't focus on the quality of the drinks.
No kind of play area for children, except for a table football in an area of the hotel particularly frequented by mosquitoes for which my children went for just 10 minutes on the first day.
Non-existent entertainment, but for which you pay a club card. On the last two evenings, despite asking several times to do at least a little baby dance, my children were left empty-handed and with disappointment they returned to their room. In particular, I hold the "chief" animator responsible for this because he remained completely indifferent to the children's requests.
In the evening the only pleasant thing was Esilda's coffee.
Finally, the beach: poorly maintained, sunbeds and umbrellas bordering on disrepair.
I would like to underline that I spoke about all this with both the commercial and service management, but they remained unheard, although they were also dictated by the experience of those who have seen many structures in almost 20 years of site inspections.
Perhaps the doubt should have come to me when, after having just placed my suitcases in the hall, alone with 2 small children walking up the entrance stairs WITHOUT the intervention of any of the staff who watched me struggle, while my husband parked, I said, still with out of breath, I was asked for the balance... the lack of ethics was evident straight away, probably aware that if they ask for the balance at the end (as is customary), with all the inefficiencies, disappointments and anger that the customer suffers , is there a risk that you won't pay and ask for a refund?
The risk is there... yes!
This morning, leaving the property I was happy, and aware that I will never return and will not recommend anyone to stay.
If we analyze carefully, using a minimum of professionalism, negative word of mouth is much more serious than a possible recognition of errors and shortcomings and very little would be enough...
Upon arrival, with suitcases in hand, they already asked us for the balance of the bill... (I consider it unprofessional and not up to the standard of a 4 star).
In the restaurant room the day after our arrival, "inhuman screams" came from the kitchen (there are all calls in the workplace, but they must be made in the absence of customers and in the right manner). Only with the arrival of Mr. Antonio brought the professionalism that was missing, in fact the organization of the restaurant has definitely improved, but the quality of the food has not (several times the dishes arrived cold).
The 4 four stars are only deserved by the cleaning service (excellent) and the courtesy of the night porter.
The beach, a real disappointment. Broken umbrellas and deckchairs, cleanliness not even worth mentioning...
The pool had no lifeguard; in fact, there was but it was diverted to the beach service...
One evening we needed some ice - after having bruised our foot - but, we were told, that the machine was broken; they also did not have an ointment to apply to prevent the foot from swelling.
We are sorry to say it, but in our opinion, the quality - price ratio is terrible.
In conclusion, there is a lot to improve especially at an organisational/management level.
We paid a price far beyond the services we received.
Nice and fun entertainment, both on the beach and in the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel with high expectations, but unfortunately they were all disappointed. Since check-in, the staff has been rude and unprofessional, without a minimum of courtesy or attention to guests. The feeling of being just a number was constant throughout the duration of the stay.
The real disaster was the restaurant. The food was poor quality, seemed recycled from previous meals and served without any care. The dishes were often cold and tasteless, and the lack of variety of dishes made every meal seem like agony. I found myself repeatedly wondering if the kitchen had ever seen fresh ingredients or if everything came from leftovers from the day before.
In addition, the restaurant staff were completely disinterested and rude. Any request was met with rudeness, and the general environment was chaotic and scruffy. Eating in these conditions was far from pleasant.
To conclude, the stay at this hotel was a total disappointment. Between bad service and an unworthy restaurant, I can only advise against this property to anyone. If you want to spoil your holiday, then this is the place. Otherwise, better look elsewhere.
