Enjoyed a wedding anniversary lunch here, just passing and thought we would try it. We were not disappointed the food was good as was the ambience. Fresh quality food and a steak to die for hubby said.

After a quite a long journey bimberling along the Hampshire back roads we discovered this wonderful Pub , Both Jackie and myself enjoy just stumbling across these amazing Pub's. It was our four attempt at finding somewhere to eat and they were all very busy ,Easter Sunday I should have known better but there was 1 parking space left in...

LUNCH: gloopy (cold in the middle) tasteless leek/potato soup, sandwich of ASDA quality wholewheat bread w/ thick slice of generic cheddar accompanied by indifferent (& incompletely thawed) chips. A real bargain at £16.90. (Coffee was decent) ROOM: freezing... with no heat (until about 7 pm), v large completely tiled bathroom with no shower curtain or cubicle (creepy). low sink with...

Had a brilliant stay in this hotel, staff very friendly and attentive, lots of little treats in the room. Stayed for my Sister in laws birthday, and her family joined us on Friday evening. Meals excellent, freshly cooked, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely go back again.

One night stay.Comfortable double room. Delightful ambience in the bar and restaurant. I had the inclusive with course dinner and free drink. Good choice off an interestingly different menu. All freshly cooked and excellent quality. Staff courteous and polite. Lovely breakfast. Lots of homemade bits and bobs. Gardens great for the warmer days. Give it a try.

Recommended by friends, this is a good country pub with quite a small menu which is good as it implies that everything is fresh. I had the pork medallions which were tasty but a little tough and the potatoes with them were average. The accompanying vegetables had good variety but were a little overcooked. We just went for lunch so many...

Excellent polite professional staff, nice cosy pub with open log fire's. Lovely rooms and views across the open countryside in a quiet beautiful part of the country. Didn't have dinner but it looked lovely, breakfast was great.

A very friendly welcome, and excellent service. Slight confusion with order, probably our fault and not an issue at all. Food very tasty. A good selection of real ales ,quality lagers, and decent wines. Not the first visit and not the last.

Decided to have lunch somewhere local to Petersfeild with the wife. We arrived around 12:30 and was greeted by a friendly and polite waitress / bar lady / everything (poor lady was so busy all the time and could have done with another staff member to be honest). We were seated by a log burner but unfortunately even with the...

Excellent throughout, good food, well presented. Good menu choice. Staff friendly and attentive. Am glad that I will be returning on another business trip in near future. The only problem that I had was lack of mobile signal, but with the free Wi-Fi was able to use through internet
