If you have a fly out in the Ear Falls or Red Lake area this is a good spot to stay. They motel is older but very well run.... Clean rooms and cozy.... Heat and air always work good... Five of us stayed in one room with a cot and it was 110.00 dollars... Rooms have microwaves, coffee pots, and...

Our room was reasonably well equipped with bed, couch, table, fridge and micro wave. It has a camp feel but was very clean and well maintained. The room was a bit noisy from neighboring rooms and the heat/AC unit was noisy. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and supportive.

Enjoyed our stay at the Trillium in late August. Only stayed one night but the room was cozy and warm; what I would expect from a motel. There was a double bed and a single bed. Bathroom was clean and efficient. Restaurant served good pub style food and the prices were reasonable. I would stay here again.

Stayed overnight at this motel on our way to our fishing outfitter. Rooms were remodeled, clean and comfortable. Left in the morning with a good nights sleep at an affordable price. Breakfast was good in their restaurant with the added bonus of opening early in the morning so we could get to camp quicker.

From the outside the Motel, Restaurant and Bar lack "curb appeal". Check in shows the kind of people you are dealing with. This is a family operation that has not succomed to the southern Ontario price gouging that so often we see in the summer season. The rooms are efficient and clean - bedding comfortable and great towels that don't...

As a group of four fisherman, we have stayed at the Trillium for the last 16 years in preparation for our trip into fish camp. The owner, Brent, and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and accomodating. Even the thought the rooms are a bit dated, they are clean and warm. They have an excellent restaurant, especially at...

“I stayed in room #1 which would be the coldest room as it has an outside wall. Rooms closer to the restaurant might be noisier.”
