We spent a week here recently. We received a warm welcome from Giannis and Angelos despite our two hour delay and time of night and we were even able to order a snack to eat and a drink. The apartments were as expected for rural Greece and although basic were clean. My only gripe was the beds were extremely hard ( I like a firm bed)but wow not this hard!! I actually felt bruised so be warned if this is not to your liking. Angelos and his wife could not do enough to make you welcome and food and drinks offered were to a good standard. It’s a ten minute walk down to the main strip so these studios are in a pretty good location if you like it quiet. Don’t expect too quiet however as the local cockerels do like to make themselves heard starting at around 4am haha

Had stayed here a few years previously and enjoyed our stay but this time it was taken to a new level. The room had been refurbished and a new bathroom had been installed. We had a lovely balcony with great views of the surrounding countryside. The best plus this visit was the pool bar,tasty food and drink at reasonable prices, run by Angelos,who is very accommodating and friendly. A/C was 5 Euros a day and Safe was 3 Euros a day. We will definitely stay here again, hopefully very soon.

After visiting alykes a number of times I must say that these were the best appartments we have ever stayed in yes they are basic so if it is luxury your looking for well these appartments are not for you The reason I will be returning to here is because of the staff everyone of them work really hard to try and make sure you av a wonderful stay especially Angelo who runs the pool bar ,nothing was ever to much trouble for him we stayed bed and breakfast and was so glad we did as you could choose whatever you wanted off the menu and it was always lovely and fresh and much cheaper than most of the local restaurants They also do a weekly bbq which was amazing so much food and all cooked beautifully. I will start with what I really loved about our one week stay at Gianni's. I absolutely loved the view looking over mountains at the back of our studio room on the top floor. It was just gorgeous! The room was very spaceous with plenty of storage and I liked the wooden beams on the celing. The pool was very clean and the bar staff were very friendly and attentive. I really liked Alykes and the location was not too far from the beach/restaurants although having your transport to just nip to there was a lot more handy!! The main issue with our room (top floor studio) was that we found the the bed and pillows to be very hard and uncomfortable. This is personal preference but for us it meant that we did not sleep well and this impacted our holiday. This was the most uncomfortable bed I have experienced traveling and I've stayed in a lot of basic accomodation. We also had some issues with the air con dripping on the floor at night which woke us up in the night and wet our suitcases and clothes. We were then told that we needed to empty a bottle outside when it was full. The staff seemed to thnk we should have known this and never appologised for our inconviences when this should be checked daily by the cleaners. A bit of empathy and a appology would have gone a long way. There were also some handles missing on the drawers (sharp screws left in) and the bathroom was very basic and in need of a deep clean...for the limescale on the taps etc. In all we were disappointed in the quality of the room as we were expecting a comfortable basic room but what we got was uncomfortable and below 3 star quality. We have just returned from here on the 20/7. We were there to celebrate my husband's retirement and a lovely bottle of wine was placed in our room which was a lovely touch . I have to say it it is a lovely complex only 21 apts which I believe ground floor and 1st floor have been refurbished with the top floor being completed for next year. We were in no 13 which was very spacious and roomy and has been renovated to a great standard. Arriving about 11 at nite we were greeted by Angelo who looks after the pool bar very well he offered to cook for us at that time of nite but we got water and unpacked a few things by this time it was near midnight and we went to the bar to try the Ouzo after 2 or 3 it was bedtime and Angelo got us the remote for the air conditioning which was kind as the room was hot being locked up all day. The manager visited us the next morning and we paid 5 euros s day for the air con we were there for two weeks and little tax charge and we decided to have a safe as well so it was an additional outlay but worth it. The walk down to the town is down a small road just need to take extra care at nite. There are restaurants pubs and supermarkets on the main street from full a la carte to ribs n chicken. We loved the beach. 8Euros for two beds and parasol with waiter service on the beach we used Moby Dick and Buca to eat and full toilet facilities which were kept well. The sea was warm and very refreshing. The Iris bar which you pass on the way has tribute acts of Robbie Williams Blues Brothers Rod Stewart and a quiz if you want some entertainment. All in all we had a fabulous two weeks and it is definately worth a visit and we shall be returning some time soon. Thanks to all for a great holiday.…

Very clean hotel! Nice renovated room.friendly staff and very quiet rooms.it was near the beaches and restaurants.it is an excellent choice for holidays.thre is almost a parking area and a nice swimming pool

We have just spent a beautiful holiday at Giannis Studios, spotlessly clean rooms, very welcoming staff, lovely pool and delicious food served all day. A huge thank you to Angelo, Lyda and Franchesca for taking such good care of us, nothing was ever too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you. Highly recommended!

The best studio I have stayed in in Greece. It had been recently refurbished so there were no sounds from the fridge or aircon and the shower did not leak all over the floor. The pool is a good size and lovely and clean. Angelos and Leda (sorry if that’s spelt incorrectly) worked their socks off and were very helpful. Loads of restaurants within a short walk as is the beach.

We stayed here in May for 14 nights,the pool bar served excellent food all day long,Angelos was the chef and also worked the bar, he is a very helpful and pleasant guy who would do anything to help you,Leda the lady who cleans the rooms helps behind the bar too,very clean rooms nothing is to much trouble for all staff involved,we have already booked again for September,definitely recommended👍👍👍👍👍👍

Just returned from 9 fantastic relaxing days at Gianni"s. Lovely pool, pool area and bar. Angelos is a credit to the hotel, a lovely man and nothing is too much trouble (and makes a great mojito using the fresh mint grown at the hotel!). All staff are hard working, friendly and very efficient. Room was nice and big, seemed recently refurbished, overlooking the pool. Less than 10 mins to the beach/crossroads on foot. Will definitely return.
