Stayed here a few times Some rooms have been updated some haven't We had a old room, beds are very uncomfortable. Bathroom is horrible. Room in the 3rd floor lovely view Nice outside area. Lemon and orange trees. Lovely pool area. We asked to change our room to one of the updated ones , we could of a few days later but decided to stay where we were because of the view and we couldn't be bothered to pack and unpack again. Overall stay at the hotel was good. We had food a couple of times and was very nice. If staying here email them and ask for a updated room

My wife and I have stayed at Panos 7 or 8 times now. We have tried other apts in the area, but always return here. Very clean, comfy beds, great showers and run by a lovely family. The pool area is wonderful and the food is excellent. A terrific, full English breakfast was only €6.50. (Dassia’s moussaka is a revelation !). There is a 15-20 minute walk into the centre but it’s all flat walking and there are watering holes along the way. The top floor is only accessible by a metal, spiral staircase and these rooms have not got the best beds yet, but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before all renovations and upgrades are completed. We will always stay here when visiting Alykes and have no hesitation in recommending Panos studios and apts. Jim & Angie D.

This was a lovely hotel in a quiet location. We liked the fact that we had a 10 - 15 minute stroll to and from the beach and main resort of Alykes. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The kitchen facilities were quite basic but we weren’t planning on doing much cooking so it suited us fine! We enjoyed lunch here a couple of times and it was lovely. The staff were really nice and appreciated our limited attempts at ordering food and drinks in Greek. The pool area was so relaxing and very clean. Sunloungers were always available, which isn’t always the case in other establishments. We hope to be able to visit again.

We visited mid September. These studio apartments are available through Jet2 or Tui. The manager Dacia can come across quite stern at first but she is actually a lovely lady. The apartment was basic. Double and single bed shoer toilet etc. Lovely balcony, but kitchen very sparce. Bring your own t towel. A kettle and 2 ring hob are what you get. Suited us fine as we had an english breakfast with tea coffee and juice for €6.50 We also hired a car from there at €40 a day and we got to spend a great deal of time visiting this fantastic island. Billy the bar manager was a fountain of local advise as well. If you want rowdy nightlife it's a 10 min walk from this gem.

Stayed at Panos for seven nights, and would happily have been on the plane home after our first night due mainly to the spiral staircase and a bad experience with the air conditioning in the night. Luckily that never happened and the rest of our time turned in to one of our best holidays in Greece, the location is great providing you don't mind a good walk into the resort centre (20 mins). The rooms are on the small side and basic but perfectly adequate, and cleaned on a regular basis although our sheets and towels could have been changed more frequently. The big plus at this place is the lovely pool area very tranquil and spotlessly clean, and always plenty of sunbeds, we ate at the pool bar several times the food quality was excellent and good value for money. We enjoyed this place that much we have already booked again for next year, hopefully without the spiral staircase experience (LOL).

A beautiful hotel in an equally beautiful setting. Rooms are well above the usual standard with modern bathrooms. Kitchen area is basic but has all the necessities. I know the term ‘spotlessly clean’ is often overused but it is the only way to describe the standard of the cleaning here. All the staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The pool area was fantastic too and there were always plenty of sun beds.

Fabulous!! By far the most modern hotel I’ve ever stayed in in Greece, the bed was actually comfortable. We stayed for 7 days and the room was cleaned every day except one, we had fresh sheets and towels every day. The sink and toilet could’ve been a little cleaner though, I cleaned the loo myself when I arrived. We even had a loo roll every day- unheard of usually! Shower was amazing! Hot and powerful and the hot water flowed freely which again is unusual in Greek hotels. Peaceful location, loved sitting on the veranda first thing with my book and watching the cats potter around. Was happy to see the cats are looked after in Alykes, the shops feed them so they look well cared for and are so friendly. The pool was lovely, we never struggled for sun loungers. Best thing ever- sit still with your finger in the air and the dragonfly will land on you  The lady who runs the place has got a bad press but she was actually really nice when you spent time speaking to her, she helped us book a taxi and let us have late check out for our late flight. She smiled and waved at us as we left  Billy the bar man was ace, so lovely and friendly, he had loads of local knowledge and we saw him on the beach one morning doing his other job. Alykes is only a short walk away and there is a lot of choice of restaurants there. If you fancy a stroll along the river Alykanes is only a short distance away and there’s even more there to experience (it’s a lot louder and vibrant than Alykes). We went snorkeling a couple of times, the sea is so shallow for a long way out, you don’t even need to swim- just stick your mask on and look down, you’ll be surrounded  I would 100% return to this hotel, I really loved it.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool and bar area was spotless. During the day the pool area was tranquil and relaxing. The apartments were a 20 minute walk from Alykes, situated in fields and olive groves. So far so good! The staff at the pool and reception were rude and unhelpful. If, in the early evening you bought a beer and didn’t have the exact change, you got a “tut”, an international expression! This was followed by a comment by the lady over her shoulder to a colleague. I have no Greek, but the tone made it obvious. I thought they would prefer cash since there is a national reluctance to pay tax. Surely a bar should have a float? If there was ever an issue, however small, you were made to feel that you were being a nuisance. Nice place, shame about the staff.

When I initially booked this hotel I wasn’t full of confidence however I am beyond impressed with the hotel itself and the staff. We arrived and check in was simple. The room itself was fine. Basic but effective with a lovely bathroom and nice balcony! The kitchen was simple but had pretty much everything we needed. The beds were comfy enough however we got two single beds instead of a double. The air-con is €8 a night and I would recommend getting this as the heat at night can make it hard to sleep. Make sure to close the balcony doors at night as the air-con wont work unless they are closed fully as well as this mosquitos are vicious and I learnt that the hard way so keep them out at night unless you want to be bitten all over. The pool was perfect and the loungers were great! The bar only accepts cash but serves great drinks and food (although quite pricey). There’s a pool table and plenty of floats for the pool which is great for kids! It’s definitely perfect for family’s as well as couples. It is only a 10 minute walk from the town and beach which is perfect. You are spoilt for choice in terms of lovely eateries and bars! The staff are so lovely and friendly. Check out is only at midday as well which is a bonus! Overall I would definitely recommend Panos Studios as it’s a great hotel for a great price!!
