The worst studio's in all of Greece, On arrival we were shown our room which was basic, it was 9.30pm we dropped our luggage and went for some dinner on returning a quick look around, there were no Drinking glasses ,1 cup, no cleaning products, No clothes rack. one bedside cabinet one bedside light burnt out .The bed was as hard as nails the mattress must have been 20 years old. At breakfast 1st morning presented wit menu card and told to choose one plate or bowl. Yoghurt, cereal, fried eggs on toast, bacon eggs on toast ,or a continental Ham ,cheese, toast, boiled egg ,jam. we choose eggs on toast, which was uncooked and soggy. we had b/fast down the road. As for the pool area 8 sunbeds all with slats broken, trapped skin for trying.! The pool shower was full of slime and dirt. Pool bar very uninviting hardly staffed, no music at all. On the first day i asked for the key to the deposit box and was charged 15 euro's 3 time during our week in hell we had to request clean towels, and toilet paper ,to be told by the so called HOST that we had been given toilet paper daily, not so the cleaner came in our room twice it was the worst place we have ever been to any where in the World...! To top it off i spoke to four other couples who said they had not paid for the key to the deposit box, I asked Anastasia had she made a mistake as the others hadn't paid and she blamed it on covid ,when i said to her i will be contacting Booking.com and showed her the paper work stating it was included in the price she asked me if i had 5 euro's and gave me 20 euro's back. On the last day we decided to try the continental breakfast as we were out of our room at 11am. On taking our order she asked if we wanted the boiled egg with them ? we said yes please, minutes later the plates were served minus the ham, sorry Anastasia can we have the ham as well please, To be told" there is a problem with the ham today" i asked if we could have a cheese slice instead as there was 2 rounds of toast, no answer and she carried on taking orders from others, when we had finished our plates and was finishing our coffee she appeared with a side plat with 2 slices of ham just like that...! We left..! Please take a look at our sea view from our balcony..! 2 pics

Stayed for 2 weeks and had a great time. Anastasia and Costas are super friendly and will do anything for you. Our room was excellent with a huge balcony which was in the shade of an evening so nice and cool when getting ready to go out. Rooms are cleaned every day and towels changed whenever you need. The pool area is excellent and usually quiet with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, ice cold drinks from the bar and sun all day long. Lots of restaurants and shops a short walk away. A fantastic place to stay and we will be back next year. David and Michelle.

Quite disappointed with our visit really! No atmosphere here-no music around the pool area at any time! The breakfast was quite basic and disappointing and very limited -the cats and kittens enjoyed our village sausage daily though!! Room was very basic with very limited storage/drawers! No wonder there was never anyone there in daytim-or nighttime-they closed really early!! After staying down the hill at Giannis we would not return here-but love the village of Alykes!

Had the most amazing week at Lofos Studios with 3 of my friends. The room was modern and clean, cooking facilities, crockery and cutlery all provided. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the pool had to remain closed, though Anastasia and Panayotis were absolutely incredible hosts to us, and could not do enough for us all! They taught me how to converse in simple Greek, and after Anastasia found out that I had never tried baklava she gave my friends and I one each as a gift as well as a jar of homemade jam! The hotel is in walking distance of many bars, with 2 supermarkets being 1, and 2 minutes walk away, retrospectively. The Iris Bar is 50 metres from the hotel, and there is a beautiful taverna 50 metres from the hotel also. Lofos Studios is incredibly central and about a 5 minute walk from the centre of Alykes. Beautiful hotel with beautiful people. Thank You!

Stayed at Lofos for the final 5 days of my Alykes break with my wife and eldest daughter. Very pleased with the apartments locality to the beach and amenities. Alykes beach is fantastic. The apartments are very basic, probably in need of some refurbishment, yet at the same time they are clean, welcoming, have a small but quaint pool area and the owners are charming and make you feel at home. So in that respect they are beyond fault. Despite the "retro" feel and the feeling that they needed a bit of tlc, we had a very nice time indeed and you will have a very enjoyable holiday.

Having just spent 2 weeks here with my partner and 2 young sons I cannot speak highly enough of The Lofos. Our hosts Anastasia and Panayotis were 2 of the most friendly people we have with nothing too much trouble always willing to help. They loved our children and Panayotis always put a smile on our 7 month old son. They even cooked us all dinner one night free of charge to thank us for staying with them they are truly genuine kind hearted people. Our room overlooked the lovely pool and was a spacious 2 bed apartment which was cleaned pretty much everyday with fresh towels so no complaints there at all. After having an English breakfast in several restaurants I found Anastasia’s the best of all and would put together whatever you asked for also the lunches were lovely too with nice portions so again faultless. With The Lofos being located just a short stroll to the bars, restaurants and beach it’s the perfect little place to stay and will be returning for our next holiday.

At first I was a little worried that this place might be too far out of town for my liking but it’s only a five minute stroll into town. I think there are 11 apartments on the complex so there’s always spare loungers by the lovely pool which has a splash pool attached for little ones. We stayed in room 8 which had lovely long balcony and caught the sun all morning and provided shade in the baking afternoons. The rooms are spotless, light and airy. Air conditioning is included as is a very strong WiFi connection for those of you with pesky teenagers. The owners are friendly and helpful, the location is great and the beer is ice cold. There are bars, restaurants and supermarkets yards away, I can’t recommend this place highly enough, Yamas!

We didn't stay here but after walking past a few times and seeing the lovely pool area deserted and a sign up saying all welcome we decided to stop off on our way back from the beach for a drink and a dip in the pool. So glad we did as this became our place of choice as our hotel pool was always crowded. On more than one occasion we had the pool to ourselves and as it's elevated from the road it gets a lovely breeze coming up from the beach. The staff were chatty and friendly and the owner even summoned me to his table in the shade for a free beer on our last day! Result lol. Nice little snacks available and Costas makes the best frozen mojitos in the world according to my wife. If we return to Alykes this is most definitely where we will be staying. Yammas.

Rooms are big enough and there is a decent balcony, but everything inside feels old and unclean. Even though there is a kitchenette, you won't be able to use it normally as stove is out of order. The forks and spoons look filthy. Dead moskitos on the walls. The hot water is only after 6:30 p.m. Continental breakfast consists of one hard boiled egg, two pieces of bread, a piece of ham and a piece of cheese, two pieces of butter. You can choose between tea and instant coffee. And there is a bowl of ham and a jar of juice. Oh, there was a piece of cake, I had an allergic reaction to (I don't have food allergies normally). Wi-Fi is available only outside in the pool area. When the staff closes the bar at 10 p.m. the Wi-Fi disappears until 8:30 a.m. when the bar opens for breakfast. The pool is surrounded by dead plants in pots. If I was a manager of this facility, I would die of shame.
