A beautiful peaceful location surrounded by breath taking scenery. The room was spotless and facilities excellent. Lynn and Aled are excellent hosts with nothing too much trouble. Breakfast can be tailored to anyone's needs and there is plenty of variety. Newquay is only a short distance away or Cwmtydu beach a few strides from the door with the chance to...

What a lovely place the B&B is situated in a little cove very quiet and peaceful the perfect place to get away from it all. Lynn and Aled are the perfect hosts nothing is to much trouble for them. The rooms are lovely, spotlessly clean, excellent en suite facilities, plenty of tea and coffee and a TV perfect. The breakfast...

After a very stressful and upsetting few weeks we were desperate for a relaxing peaceful break for a few nights. I found this haven of peace quite by chance. It's true what they say " everything happens for a reason" I called a couple of days before our arrival to check the booking to be greeted on the end of...

We booked the night before for two nights stay. Arriving late we got a warm welcome from Lynn and soon settled in to the ground floor room which is of a good size with a king size bed. We know Cwmtydu well we have been many times but never before stopped at Melyn-y-Gors and the beach is lovely with good...

We haven't actually stayed at Melyn-y-Gors but felt we had to mention their outstanding hospitality. Yesterday evening my family had the misfortune of being stranded for 4 hours waiting for the RAC just a little way up the road from Melyn-y-Gors, with no mobile service we headed back towards Mely-y-Gors where the amazing owner Mr Aled Davies went far beyond...

This is an absolute gem of a B&B. It is a short drive from New Quay but totally worth it if you want a secluded beach, smugglers caves, beautiful scenery and nice coastal walks. The B&B itself is cosy, spotlessly clean and literally a 2 minute walk to the beach! The owners Lynn and Aled were so lovely and made...

Arrived at Melyn-y-gors after a long tiring journey. The winding country lanes threw us for a while as we were sure we must have taken a wrong turning. Surely there couldn't be a guest house hidden away in such a rural setting....how wrong we were ! Turning the last hair raising corner, the bay spread out before us and the...

Called in the Melyn Y Gors in Cwmtudu Newquay this morning for breakfast before going to the beach. The service was amazing, with all of the staff being very welcoming and friendly. The food was well presented and contained fresh, delicious produce. The owners Lynn and Aled are so lovely and you can stay in their beautiful B&B too. Well...
