Stayed for three nights whilst visiting family in Hadleigh. We were made very welcome. Room was warm & comfortable & fully stocked. Bar was well stocked, draught beer & cider well kept. Restaurant menu was tempting & the food good from starter to pudding. Happy to return & recommend.

This little place was just what we needed. It was a stormy night, so dark and we wanted a charming place to eat, drink and sleep. We found it there. The new owners have only been there since July 2015, but have a done a great job of redecorating the place to feel oldy worldly England, but not dark and...

Our first visit since change of ownership. Staff welcoming and attentive. Spacious dining room, with small bar area. Food good and plentiful - very generous portions. Good value. We will certainly go back.

We visited on the pubs 2nd night of opening. Welcome was friendly. Food was poorly presented and after sending food back, we still didn't get what we thought was a half decent meal. Pub has been over refurbished & lacks character inside.. Won't be returning..

Recently reopened following a big make-over so I popped in just for a pint and a 'nose'. Received a fine warm welcome and had a look at the attractive menus. I'll certainly be giving it a try when I'm looking for food.

A short walk from the high street but easy to get to from all around by car with a car park. Nicely arranged, separate dining space next to the a bar space. Very good food at sensible price, with fine ale. Interesting art work - not tat - on the walls, also for sale. Lovely staff - why not visit?
