Was meant to be a romantic weekend escape... Staff failed to let us know that we'd be sharing guesthouse with football lads weeked who treated the hotel as there own with no regard for other guests. we were kept awake from 11:30 pm till 330 am with the usual bucks weekend behavior. When we woke in the morning the breakfast... More

Very disappointed, overpriced for what you get. we paid 470 dollars for 2 nights. no parking, had to pay for local parking. basic accommodation, no tv or little bar fridge in rooms. share kitchen and tv in common room with no lounges. tv did not work first night. we were the only ones there for first night which was great.... Loved our last minute stay at Barrenjoey House-- booked an ensuite room as part of their winter deal which includes 3 course dinner (off their menu) and continental breakfast. Amazing value for a special experience. We started the evening at sunset by climbing up to the Lighthouse -- magic sunset and the smuggler's track is in excellent condition. Views over... More

This place has nailed the classy, stylish, relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant had good service and food (we especially enjoyed the chocolate pudding dessert), The Ragu I ordered was a larger portion then expected but was good value for money. Will definitely be back here again !

Stayed here one night for a wedding. Room was bright, clean and uncluttered. However, we booked an 'ensuite' room and instead had to use a shared bathroom down the hall. The management seemed to be okay with using description but we thought it was dishonest. The bathroom itself was clean and well supplied. That said, the continental breakfast more than... More

I had a room above the restaurant. Perfect for me after a days biking up the Northern beaches. The bedroom had a queen size bed, tea and coffee making facilities and a ceiling fan (no air con). The shared bathroom was clean. The room was right across the road from the beach. Street noise didn't bother me (there is a... More

We've eaten at Barrenjoey House twice in the past month, enjoying celebration lunches on both occasions. Over the past 5 years there have been many other dinners and lunches and without exception, we always have a great experience. The food is fresh and interesting, with staples like fish and chips or a bucket of prawns easy to enjoy. Wine by... More

We ate here 5 nights in a row and we're always delighted. The food is beautifully prepared, the service impeccable and we watched the sunset over Pittwater. The great deal is the three course offering for $65...entree, main and desert. Good wine list to. Best tables are at the front

Wait staff greeted us to inform us the restaurant was fully booked at 6pm. Yet all but 4 tables in restaurant were taken. We went to nearly fish and chips and ate in the park. Observed the restaurant and by 8pm was less than 1/2 full. We spoke to the head waiter on the way home and he was exceptionally... More
