Just stayed one night for work, room clean and pretty nice but the bathroom less so, old and tatty, common area pretty tidy. All staff very helpful and polite, breakfast really good. Big open fire for winter and a lovely walled garden for the summer.

....this relates to the accommodation side but we've also reviewed the restaurant separately as we ate there as well whilst saying. On the positive side, the staff were great (the young lady serving breakfast on Sunday was excellent) and the breakfast was very good indeed....More

There were dogs in the bar area, not sure if they stayed in the hotel! Give them a call!

Again we only stayed on the first floor but to my knowledge two of the other rooms on that floor were doubles. Check with the hotel
