Il Trebbiolo Relais was the first stop on our honeymoon. We wanted to be relatively close to the Mugello race track as we were attending the MotoGP, and this hotel was a short drive from the track, but wasn't full of rowdy race-goers. It's also only about 15 minutes drive from Florence. The day after the GP, we just wanted...

We stayed at Il Trebbiolo as part of a fantastic wedding at a nearby villa. Our junior suite was spacious, clean and traditionally furnished - with a very comfortable bed. We strongly recommend a room at the front of the building as we never tired of the breathtaking panoramic views. This historic building and grounds are clearly much loved by...

Il Trebbiiolo is a beautifully situated Tuscan hotel with breathtaking views of the valleys beyond. We stayed for a week to attend a wedding at Castello di Vincigliata and enjoy a few days break. As it is traditionally "out of season" for the region the hotel was very quiet and at times we were the only guests. We found it...

A Tuscan villa, several 100 years old, in very good repair converted into a country estate with a great view of a lovely countryside.Very large comfortable bedrooms tastefully furnished, good breakfast and dinner if you wish. Alvaro and the lady chef are running a good show. They are of the old school, very hard working, going the extra mile to...

The surroundings are very beautiful, on the hill of a mountain, with olive trees, grapes yards, apple trees etc. At night we saw wild animals nearby, very exciting for the children. The accomodation is rather basic, we stayed in an appartment for 4 persons, with 1 sofa to use as a bed. There are only small vilages nearby (5 km),...

Driving on small roads northeast of Firenze, we spotted a sign for a B&B a few kilometers up a winding road. At the end of that road stood Il Trebbiano Relais, a villa circa 1100 AD., on a hill with a stunning view of the lovely Tuscan hills to the south. The villa is an imposing edifice and the surrounding...

We had our wedding reception at Trebbiolo on 5th October. What to say? Alvaro and Sabrina were really kind and attentive to meet our request. Antipasti were just endless, full of fantasy and flavor in the typical Tuscany tradition, the ravioli with pink pepper, the pappardella on wild boar, the duck with orange aroma, all was amazing and all my...

We stayed for a week at Il Trebbiolo. We had been there a few years ago for dinner, and returned for a week's stay to participate in a nearby wedding. Well, the food is still delicious and reasonably priced. The villa itself has some very positive and rather negative aspects. We stayed in the best room (Oliva) in the main...

We stayed for 12 days in the newly renovated barn. The renovation is done with a very nice touch. In our bathroom you could take a shower with a view of the Tuscany Hills. The spacious room for 4 is equipped with a/c, kitchen and a huge refrigerator. The view from the hotels restaurant is astonishing. The pool area is...

Three very uncomfortable days spent, isolated in the tuscany hills, in a massively overpriced, ant-ridden, shower-free converted barn, where even the toilet paper was mouldy! Cold and dank interior - check Dirty, drab bedrooms - check Unhelpful staff who shrugged their shoulders at our concerns - check Camping would have been a more pleasant experience.
