Spent 4 days here. Initially offered a side sea view room, but asked if we could change to a room at the front with a full sea view. Unfortunately there were none available the first night, but they were happy to move us the next day. The room at the front is slightly larger with a slightly bigger balcony enough...

Too far out of town for a short stay. I don't think that they were ready for guests as there was no evening meal, only buffet breakfast. Expensive taxi ride from town and it was a Sunday and bus travel was not available. The owners were very nice and gave us a lift into the city in the afternoon so...

Great hotel, excellent attention to detail and customer service; they really did go over and above what is expected. The hotel is family run and has a very personal feel to it. The bus stop into Zadar is a short walk away so the town centre is easily accessible. Would definitely return.

If you want excellent service good food and a relaxing atmosphere this is the place to go. Family run hotel that is well run and very attentive to its guest. We would recommend it, but you would best to have a car as there is very little in Sveti Petar. Our thanks to the brothers Nico and Luka and to...

Wonderful food and very kind service by crew. Seafood is very good and there is the perfect balance between quality and price. Is a nice place in front of the sea to spend time in relax during holidays.

Adriatic Sea is beautiful by itself! If you find the place, like we did, with private beach, lounge chairs and cold drinks - you are set for perfect vacation. Mare Nostrum is small hotel with big ways to make your stay unforgettable. So glad to see that family run business can beat most of chain hotels in every aspect. High...

Family run hotel and you'll be treated as a part of the family. Almost everybody speak multiple languages, English is near-perfect. It is right on the beach and you will have a chance of the shade of olive or spur or fig trees. If you there in September you can have a coast for yourself, drink the wine on the...

The family who runs Mare Nostrum was extremely helpful and accommodating. We didn't realize when we booked the trip how far out of Zadar this hotel is (about a 20 minute bus ride with a stop over at the bus station, then another 10 minute bus ride). They helped us to understand bus schedules, and answered any question we had...

We have just stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Mare Nostrum. The location is directly on the seafront, making the terrace a wonderful place to sit for meals & drinks. The hotel is bright & spotless. We were helped with our luggage on arrival and immediately felt welcomed. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was small but completely adequate...

We stayed here for only 2 nights, but our experience is more than good. Hotel is runned by a family, and all members are involved in the business. Rooms and bathrooms are not big or luxorious, but are adequate. Since it is situated directly on the sea front we spent more time outside than in the room. We do recommend...
