Close to the historic Amber fort is " Khas Bagh " a farm retreat tucked away in the Aravali hills. A stone's throw from the 12th century Amer Fort, Khas Bagh is built on the lines of a medieval style haveli with open courtyards, verandahs with arches and intricately carved stone pillars and jaalis, all hand craft by local craftsmen. Eighteen luxuriously appointed rooms with antique furniture, a pool and a polo lounge with black and white family photographs all add to providing an authentic bespoke Rajput stately home-stay experience.

We went to khas Bagh with four families and truckloads of kids :) We were looking for a place to chill, party and relax and couldn't have asked for a better place than this. Mind you, the kids ranged from 3-12 yr olds. The staff was very hospitable and accomodating. A big thank you to the chef to treat us to excellent delicious food everyday! Thank you Ransher and your team for your hospitality!!

Dear Mr Rathore, The property at Khas Bagh brings to life your eye for detail, for developing and maintaining such a pretty place, so highly distinguished. Many heritage properties fall prey to dirt and low upkeep. You have challenged that and the place was so clean and well kept, a source of joy. The gardens, the open area, the pool, the location, all 5 stars. The food was completely adjusted to suit our buds and we were offered a great variety for breakfast. However, i would say the biggest aspect of our comfortable stay was because you have the best staff this resort has to offer. A big shout out to Suresh, Kishan and one more help who helped with dining (i’m sorry i just didnt catch his name) It was touching that the simplest of request was offered even if it meant idlis from some other place (lovely ones) or daliya crushed in your own kitchen. We never heard a “not possible”. None would have been possible without the overall supervision of Mr Ghosh who facilitated all this. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking out for the best holiday of their life.

Room Tip: The pool was super clean. Must dip in. And take those walking shoes. Explore the gardens around.

An experience in itself is khas bagh... the attention to detailing all features leads to understanding the taste of the owners. Perfect for a comfortable stay.. open spaces to lounge or walk.. pool and great food along with impeccable service All Executives working there are the main attractive thing in this hotel. All are Very helpful, with smiling gestures. The hotel has rooms to fit your taste and family requirements. Don't miss out on the horse stable experience if possible. One of the best places for leisure if you are going to Jaipur.

We arrived in the late evening and then the hotel felt small and empty with only one other couple in the bar. We could get a glass of wine in the bar, they were out of gin, but we had to wait a while until someone in the staff could come to the bar. The room was oldfashioned and clean, very rustique, The bathroom floor was covered in water after every shower. The staff was at the same very attentive and circled around us and at the same time they could disappear or forget requests. On the day we stayed in the hotel instead of going sightseeing, the staff kept asking us to let them clean the room. It's an old house with stone and marble, which is pretty, but it also makes sounds of voices etc spread easily around the whole hotel. One family with children were very loud late one night but the staff didn't ask them to keep the noise down. The hotel offers a long list of spa services at very good prices and they are done by someone who comes to the hotel for an appointment. But I ordered pedicure and that was canceled because she had arrived without any tools. My friend's massage service was delayed 20 minutes without any reason being given. For breakfast you can order omelettes which is nice, but the breakfast buffet is very poor with some bread, rice and daal. The area is very quiet and is nice for peace and relaxation but you need a car to go for sightseeing. Wifi was very weak and came and went all the time and didn't work by the pool for example.

I have stayed at Khas Bagh several times over the past five or six years and have brought my tour groups here. The rooms, pool and common areas are beautiful. The staff is always accommodating and the Polo Lounge is a wonderful place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. It is away from the hustle and bustle but close enough that seeing the sights of the Jaipur area are just a short drive away. I love the large garden space and the combination of a historic feel to the buildings and rooms with all of the comforts of modern amenities. Khas Bagh as been a long time favorite of mine to stay at myself as well as to recommend to travelers. You won't be disappointed with a stay here!
