We booked the flapping deluxe room, room size was the same as normal room just that it came with a huge jacuzzi.
Room was right at the back row, we do not mind the walking.
The room was ordinary, although a bit run down, but room was clean and tidy.
The main excellent thing about our stay was the customer service.
Staff was extremely polite & helpful, be it at reception, at restaurant. I ordered a birthday cake to the room, & they sang a surprise birthday song with the cake.
Food was ordinary, we had burger & nasi goreng & for room service we had pizza & salmon. Room service & buddy was prompt.
The reason we would return will be because of the customer service. Kudos to the team!

Excellent getaway destination for families with children. Self-contained resort that shares a man-made lagoon with Anmon and Treasure Bay activity center.
Service was tip top, all the smiling faces from the bell desk to front desk reception to the restaurant and housekeeping staff. The rooms are all standalone glamping tents with a comfortable king size bed plus a sofa bed, well maintained and clean. I love that the bathroom is an outdoor concept, so we don't have to deal with bums on cold toilet seats in the morning. I was initially worried about creepy crawlies such as lizards but amazingly, we saw none of those during our 3N stay.
Transport is provided to and fro the ferry terminal, no advance reservations required. Just have to approach the Natra Counter at the ferry terminal when you arrive, and it's a short 5 mins ride to the resort.
All the activities at the Activity Center are at additional costs and plentiful to engage children of all ages, from fireworks, to indoor playground, archery, water park, paddling boats and cable ski. Otherwise you can just spend time by the lagoon, which I don't know why the water is always freezing cold despite a blazing sun.
While the restaurant food was generally good, the only problem was they have just 1, so all meals were settled there I could memorise the menu by the 2nd day. Even the in room dining was served from the same restaurant hence the same menu. Recommend ordering the BBQ dinner package for a unique experience of grilling your own food just outside your tent.
Overall a lovely stay and excellent service, would have been deserving of 5* if they provided more free facilities and another restaurant/meal option.

Stayed in jacuzzi tent and garden tent. The jacuzzi was great for rainy days. Water was sufficiently hot and bubbles and water jet works well and strong.
Location wise, both are deeper away from lagoon. Jacuzzi tent is the furthest.

My only gripe is that in the jacuzzi tent for a family with 5, we were given one tin y tube for shower gel for 2 days stay. It was quite apparent when I move to garden tent and they provided the shower gel in a big 500ml bottle (not mini tube).
Hotel has been split from the Chill Cove mgt but there is still 20% discount given to hotel guests for the activities. Love riding the e-scooter around the lagoon.

Such a great concept. Loved the round tents and all the furnishings. Feels like you’re on safari when you’re inside. We were upgraded to a lagoon view safari tent and loved it. So nice to have a view out to the lagoon and to have your own outdoor table, chairs and sun loungers plus you walk straight out your door on to the ‘beach’ and lagoon. The tents are really spacious, beds are comfortable and the outdoor bathroom is lovely. Loved showering in the fresh air and having such a big bathroom.
The service was excellent from check in to having things delivered to the room. The bar fridge was hopeless, even after receiving a new one, so we had to ask for buckets of ice. It was delivered to the room immediately. All the staff were lovely, polite and friendly however not up quiet up to Marriott standards. Hopefully they will improve over time and learn more about what western tourists expect. Apart from the bar fridge not being cold the main downfall at Natra is the restaurant and food. The pizza was basically a flat/pita bread with too much cheese that was only just melted - not nice and cooked/bubbly like a proper pizza. The food options could be improved. Not what you’d expect to find at a Marriott hotel. Drinks are very expensive - hence the need for a bar fridge or ice!
The lagoon is loving for swimming. Didn’t do any of the water activities. Spa options were almost double the price of the spa 5 mins away.

It took me a while to simmer my frustration down. I have to say that I was not impressed with the quality of how we were received and the normality of the overall stay with below average food options like below average. For a 600$/night I would of expected that the level would of been higher. The resort management and marketing have definitely over sold VS their capability of delivering a good experience. In a nutshell: Super noisy patrons - The hotel management should explain what "Glamping" is to their customers, we felt that they thought the tent were sound proof. Also if you're going for a relax quiet environment it fails to mention that the fake grass fence is to hide a motocross track right next to the tents. Forget about tranquility in the afternoon. We also had 0 answers from many early check-in email request via marriott.com. NONE. Tell us to wait an hour for our room where it took 6: Please wait...please wait ..We saw all the other early guest get their rooms first and we were there before them. I guess it doesn't pay to be polite and nice to staff and management. Also when we asked for the bed to be fixed: Sorry its ALL like that. REALLY? The maintenance if poor and the capabilities are poorer. Room service was a joke: We booked a BBQ then changed the time via a guest relation call.... They forgot us. We ask for glasses and ice. We had to call twice in 1.5 hours. Again, If I would of paid 100$ a night then OK I manage our own expectations but at 600$ a night Natra Bintan, A Tribute Portfolio Resort needs to STEP UP their game as guest are paying the equivalent of a suite in a 5* hotel and should come with the service, quality of this level.

A hardware is only as good with the right software; and Natra Bintan scores right for her people that keeps the place alive.
Right from the onset in communicating with Natra's Reservation team Ms Novy, she made sure that all my requests were well taken note off. This stay was in celebration for my wife's 50th birthday and i couldnt afford to have a fail point and indeed Ms Novy made sure everything went smooth.
On arrival, check-in was pretty quick and seamless when we arrived at around 2.30pm and was able to get to one of the rooms first. 2nd room was ready by around 3.30pm. Nice glamping tent and birthday decor was a nice lovely touch.
We next proceeded to go check out the Activity Center which is managed by a different operator and is based at the opposite side of the accomodations. The Crystal Lagoon is fairly large and to walk the perimeter or get to the Activity Center will be quite a distance. However, one has a choice to call for a buggy or rent a scooter.
I cant commend enough of the Activity Center staff as well as the various activity spots staff, all of them were great hosts. Thanks especially to Jackson for arranging and to Team Andra, Abdul, Hendra, Jack and all (sorry for missing out names) for making us feel so young again in egging us to try all activities :) and taking care of my girl making sure she enjoys them too.
Overall, truly enjoyed the staycation and its fun filled activities in just a short 45mins ferry ride from Singapore.

We had a great time at Natra Bintan! It's elderly friendly and there are loads of activities for both children and adults. We travelled with my 80 year old aunt, and it was helpful to have the buggy to ferry her from tent to lobby.
Highly recommended is the BBQ outside your tent experience. I would suggest getting the hotel staff to set up your BBQ pit at 530pm if you want to start cooking by 7pm. The portions are huge and we basically ordered a sharing platter for 2, added one more dish to feed the 3 of us.. even then, we struggled to finish the food.
It's a lovely place to go for short break, and the staff are so helpful and professional.
The hotel has a spa, alternatively you can head into the touristy village nearby to grab a meal, do a spot of shopping and patronise the spas. There is a free shuttle that goes round the hotel resorts.

The resort is at Treasure Bay with lot of activities. The rooms are well-equipped and cleaned. Service is excellent. Staff are young and could learn a bit more about the area and guide the guests better but they are all cheerful and friendly and are willing to go to great lengths to keep the guests happy. We went when the resort was not crowded and we received our room service in a very short time. Food taste and quality are not the best but the nearby resort Anmon has great food and cocktails. Had a very disappointing experience with Natra. It only takes a single incident to spoil your entire traveling experience.
During our stay, we had to make an international phone call to Singapore and so we called the reception to check if there were charges. The reception staff told us over the phone that there’s no charge to call Singapore. We then followed the instruction note beside the phone to make that call. However, the phone couldn’t get through. Hence, we called to check again and the staff told us the method to call and we confirmed again with her that the call was really free.
The next day upon check-out, we were given the bill and the international phone call was charged. We explained the whole situation to the staff and she still insisted that it was chargeable. We asked to see the manager. Again, we explained the entire situation to the manager and she said that she had clarified with the staff who took our call and was told that the staff merely taught us how to make the call and didn’t mention that the call would be free. We were so shocked to be misled and maligned this way. The manager didn’t really want to hear our side of the story and kept pointing out that all hotels charge for international calls and that the instruction note also indicated that it’s chargeable.
We asked if they checked the phone recording because we were 100% certain that the staff told us the call would be free. She said yes at first but later on said that it’s not easy to retrieve the phone recording. We told her that it is a small amount but by principle, we will not pay because we stand by what we were told. We also told her that if the call was chargeable why wouldn’t I make the phone call through my mobile phone instead. The manager also insisted that the staff would not have given the wrong instruction because she is the one who is teaching the other staff. Wow, that’s quite a good explanation to get away from everything unscathed. The manager would not give in despite all that was explained. We asked to see the staff and clarify in person but was rejected. We then asked to see the piece of instruction note that indicated that international call is chargeable. After a long time, the manager came out and said that it was not indicated on the instruction and they will waive the cost for us.
The way the case was handled was less than professional. The manager’s way of investigation was just listening to her staff’s side of story and give us a standard policy reply that all hotels charge for international calls and that it was stated in their instruction note. What’s worst is after checking, it wasn’t stated there at all. I wouldn’t believe that this is the kind of customer service we receive at a hotel under the name of Marriott, much worst to a loyal Marriott member. Based on our entire conversation with the manager, we see that she did not want to resolve the issue to the best of both interests but just insisting that we still have to pay. After she came out and told us that it would be waived, there was no apology or any after service recovery. This really ended our trip on a bad note and we will not come back again. This is despite the positive experience with the other Natra staff who were friendly and hospitable throughout our stay.

Our second time back after post covid. Resort was still very well maintained and the man-made lagoon is still the highlight of the resort. Staffs in the resort and at treasure bay were all excellent and friendly. They are always ready to help. The housekeeping also did a good job in ensuring that the Tent is squeaky clean before our arrival. Aircon was cold and functioning and it even has an extra fan if you ever need one. My boys had fun with all the water activities available in the resort. Price points of food and the activities seems to gone up quite a bit after post covid. All hotel guests will get 20% off all activities in the treasure bay. Overall, we had a good stay!
