I recently took my wife to Norway for her 40th birthday, as she's always wanted to see the Northern Lights. Booked with Ryan Air to fly to Oslo Torp and then flights with Norwegian the following day to Tromso for 2 nights hunting the lights before returning to Oslo for a final night prior to our flight home to Stansted....

If you think you have found a reasonably priced hotell i Norway, you are going to be a bit dissapointed since it is not a hotel but a boarding house. The standard is excelent for a boarding house with really clean rooms with your own bathroom which seem newly renovated, but the standard is strange when compared to hotels with...

Not the easiest to find - use the link on their web site, however quiet location overlooking forest and lake. Good quality room, with double bed and double bunk, shower room and plenty of storage space. Very functional but not city style - just right. Parking, breakfast area outside, plus guest annexe with free internet access, TV and coffee etc....

My wife and I stayed in this hotel/B&B for a weekend last April and had a great time! The hotel itself, although a little hard to find, is an excellent place to spend a few days relaxing. It's clean, comfortable, provides a good Norwegian cold breakfast, and is run by a very friendly couple who looked after our every need....
