We stayed here in August 2019 during/after our wedding and had a fantastic time. Jane and her family were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us, they really made our stay extra special. The cottage was so lovely with log burner, fantastic views, comfy bed and all the facilities you could need plus we had some local foods such as black pudding, eggs, bread, butter, bacon, smoked salmon and milk in the fridge. There is a wooden terrace which is private with seating. Honestly couldn’t recommend staying here enough. Thank you for a wonderful week! You made our wedding week stress free and extra special. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding nearby for 4 nights and so glad we did. Jane and Philip were most welcoming and we felt at home straight away. Nothing was too much trouble and it was our 26 year old sons birthday whilst we were there and she made him a birthday cake when he arrived for the wedding. They welcomed Bruce, our daughters french bulldog who soon made friends with their two well behaved dogs. Jane went above and beyond for us during our stay and I feel we arrived as guests and left as friends... The rooms were very spacious and comfortable each with large bathrooms. The views and the grounds are stunning and very relaxing. We would definitely stay here again

Gorgeous comfy bed. Delicious breakfast and Jane just couldn’t do enough to make our stay special. As it was warm breakfast was served on the terrace. The old farm house has lots of character and the views are to die for. This place is special and a unique place to stay. We loved it.

We have just returned from a wonderful mini-break at High Park Farm and will be returning soon to enjoy more of the amazing Yorkshire countryside and the warm hospitality. We were greeted by the owners, Jane and Philip, with tea and brownies (probably the best I’ve ever tasted) and shown to a gorgeous room with a beautiful en-suite. The decor of the room was exceptionally tasteful and the huge Victorian bed was incredibly comfortable and made with the most beautiful bed linen. We had fresh flowers in our room, which is a lovely touch. There is also a cosy sitting room for the exclusive use of guests, which is an added extra not offered at many B&Bs. It has comfy chairs and a wonderful log burner and it is really lovely to be able to sit and relax in the warm after a day out walking in the Yorkshire countryside. The breakfast offered a huge selection from fresh fruit, nuts and cereals to fresh pastries and of course a delicious full Yorkshire breakfast. Make sure you have some of Jane’s homemade blackcurrant jam - delicious! Also we could choose when to have breakfast, which is lovely as we are early birds who like to get up early and get out into the countryside. One night we decided to eat out at a pub in a local village and one of the owners’ sons dropped us off and then came back to collect us; ‘all part of the service’ at High Park Farm. The farm is a family home with a lovely warm feeling so you feel like you are staying with friends rather than a B&B. We left after 3 wonderful nights and have just booked for a second stay in the Summer. And the best thing was that when we left we were given a small bag containing more brownies for our journey home!

We always stay here when visiting family in the area. Jane is a wonderful hostess. You are offered tea and brownies upon arrival. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spotless and the decor is lovely. And the house is nice and warm and has a very homely feel to it. You also have use of a guest sitting room with a tv. The breakfasts are delicious. Plenty of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, toast and of course a cooked breakfast with locally sourced eggs, bacon and sausages. High Park Farm is very quiet and rural and yet is only a 5 minute drive from Kirkbymoorside. The views of the countryside are wonderful and stretch for 25 miles on a clear day. And if you prefer some luxurious self-catering, then check out The Escape and The Haven which are adjacent to the main house. All in all another lovely stay with very friendly hosts. Thank you!
