This place is a secret delight. The conversion form a corn mill has been tastefully done with imagination and quality both in evidence. My room was so comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was epic and the breakfast room is an Aladdin's cave of interesting stuff - and the mill race is visible underneath the floor! The grounds are serene with all sorts of places to sit and read. The hosts are a delight too. All in all a brilliant place to stay.
Very welcoming when we arrived. Room was really nice and we had everything we needed. The breakfast was first class plenty to choose from. It was a lovely building which use to be a Old Mill. Would stay there again highly recomended . Would love to stay there again no problem
Beautiful converted Cornmill in a quite rural location. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice & good portion sizes. Our room was large & well presented with a nice en-suite. Our hosts Karen & Chris were attentive & very pleasant. Had a lovely feel to the place. Have already booked another stay later in the year.
My partner book this as a surprise and I wasn't disappointed. The building it's self is just lovely full of period features. Karen and Chris are great host, I could sit and chat with Karen for hours. Our room was great and a fantastic on-suit. The breakfast room was an amazing room with a glass floor over where the mills wheel once sat. As for breakfast what can I say, the produce was great quality and cooked just how I love it. I would say the only down fall was the bedding, the duvet and pillows was just too heavy. The feathers moved about making the duvet uneven. May be time for some new bedding but would not stop me visiting again, just make the stay even better.
Six friends stayed here for four nights when lockdown finished; we had the comfortable guest house to ourselves with full use of the facilities. The bedrooms were all very comfortable, and the sole use of the sitting room was much appreciated; we made good use of the excellent drying room on occasions with our wet walking gear. The breakfasts in the interesting dining room were delicious with lots of choice; Karen and Chris allowed us to use this room for our takeaways in the evenings. Our hosts were very friendly and obliging; they went far beyond what we might have expected.
