A very enjoyable one night stay as we were visiting family nearby. A delightful B&B in a lovely home. Spacious and comfortable bedroom area with large bathroom. Excellent breakfast and fractious hosts. Sorry to hear that they are moving soon!

We stayed here for 2 nights as we were attending a family celebration close by. Great communication prior to arrival as unfortunately we got stuck in traffic so arrived later than anticipated. We were greeted and welcomed on arrival and shown our beautiful room. With use of a large lounge we felt very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect and after the full English I couldn’t resist sampling the home made jam on toast. Thanks to our hosts David and Jan.

My partner and I have just spent 3 nights at the Monkscider House and this feel should have 5 star rating. The hosts Jan and David are an amazing couple who greeted us with a lovely smile and a tour of there magnificent House. They are very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay excellent, nothing was too much trouble and were always on hand if we had any questions. The breakfast served up by David and cooked by Jan was excellent, everything you would want for a good breakfast was available at the table. My partner was very hesitant to stay in a B & B as he had some bad experiences in the past, he is now totally converted. We highly recommend this B & B if you are in the area
