This hotel is very impressive and is an old characterful building which has been extended to its current size in a sympathetic and pleasing way. Public and private rooms are of an extremely high standard. The staff have obviously been well trained and are extremely competent, pleasant and willing to be of assistance. We had two breakfasts, an afternoon tea...

The Spa is excellent, we had a treatment each and the facilities are brilliant. We had afternoon tea in the hotel which was beautiful. The room could do with a update but was clean, didn't get much sleep due to the noise from upstairs which put a downer on my stay. The restaurant in the hotel served us a three...

The Parsonage Hotel is situated approx 6 miles out of York in a really lovely village of Escrick. Brilliant bus service situated immediately at the end of Hotel drive. I have just spent the weekend there with a friend and we both found all the staff friendly who couldn't do enough for you and made our stay very comfortable. The...

Stayed for one night in November on business as it was fairly near to the market town of Howden where I needed to be. My room was in the coach house which is next door to the main hotel building. Upon entry there was a buzzing sound from the fuze box and eventually it went away by removing the key...

My friends and I visited the hotel on the 25th of November. First impressions were is this really three stars? The outside of the hotel is beautiful. Reception staff were polite and friendly and the premises were very clean. There is free wifi and the signal for it was great. The rooms were immaculate and very spacious. The breakfast was...

Had a lovely night away at the Parsonage. The cloisters spa was great, 4 different steam/heat rooms and a large swimming pool. Sadly the jacuzzi was broken which was disappointing. Had the mini facial/scalp massage which was relaxing. Afternoon tea in the hotel was very good though there was a mix up with our gluten free selection. Room in the...

I stayed for one night in Aug on business. It was a last minute booking and my usual hotel was full. I won't go back. The general location is rural, just south of the ring road and perhaps 25 minutes drive into York centre, depending on traffic. The village is a little sprawling, but attractive and quiet rather than beautiful...
