Called 4 times mid morning each time answered by automated voice to leave a message, left a message on 4th attempt, half an hour later no one called so called back again - this time answered by young girl who obviously hadn't checked the answering machine ! Very poor...

Brilliant staff, Iovely hotel, delicious food, superb spa and pool and great value for money. There is not much more to be said except the hotel is in a really good spot if you want to visit York for the day, the bus stop is just outside and buses run every 15 mins to the city centre.

This hotel has really good spa facilities, and a fully equipped gym. The swimming pool is a decent size, and jacuzzi was ample. Relaxing in the spa was easy, with the choice of steam, sauna, aromatherapy and salt inhalation rooms. It's a shame the complimentary use of these facilities for guests is not supported by all members, as we were...

Me and my partner spent a night here at the beginning of February. We had such a fantastic time and are already thinking about when we will return. This place has everything you could want and more and I am not exaggerating. When we saw the pictures before we arrived we thought it looked old fashioned but we weren't bothered...

My husband and I stayed here mid- week and would definitely stay again. The hotel offered good value for money, a basic, pleasant, clean room with bathroom and comfortable bed. Tea and coffee was available in the room with a selection of biscuits as well as a TV. Within the price we were able to use the spa, next to...

Spent two nights at The Parsonage Hotel. A lovely old hotel in beautiful surroundings. Very relaxing and a great spa. The room was a nice size with patio doors so in the summer you would be able to sit outside. The room was a little dated but adds to the character as the building goes back to 1840. Rooms are...
