Disappointing. The food was delicious but the service was diabolical. Went on a very hot day and were shown to conservatory which was unbearably hot. Asked if we could go outside. No sun umbrellas. Eventually sorted. Tea and cakes brought but no sandwiches. Eventually my friend went to ask for the sandwiches to be brought and cakes to be removed...

Came here for a wedding so luckily didn't have to pay full price for a room. The room was tired and shabby. About 2 sockets to use. Tiny TV. Badly laid bathroom floor and old outdated shower and sink. Windows in the room had water between the panes. A lot of the other guests mentioned that they also thought their...

We arrived mid afternoon last Friday to stay two nights with a group of friends. There is no drop off point for luggage which had to be carried from car park. There was no suggestion of help to unload the car, or with help to take it to our bedroom, or in fact any greeting from staff. There was no...

Stayed one night as my friend got married at the hotel. We had a great time and the staff at the hotel worked really hard to ensure all guests had a great time. Rodders ( barman) was a particular favourite with my husband and could be seen dancing along to the disco during the reception. The old house is lovely...

A party of us had an overnight spa stay to celebrate a friends hen party. Staff were very welcoming and provided us with a private room for afternoon tea before a wonderful afternoon in the spa. My massage was ok, but I have had better. This was despite her asking me what areas I wanted targeting but then seemingly doing...
