Lovely second stay over Christmas. As usual the staff were lovely and the food was great. The rooms in the stable blocks are nice. Bit noisy on Christmas Eve due to the smokers outside the bar but otherwise good stay. Eggs Benedict really nice. Will go again.

Stayed one night before a shopping trip to Ashford. Lovely little village setting. We were fortunate the night was that of the Christmas fair. Our room was in the stable block. It has been refurbished to a very high standard. The room was small but more than adequate, lovely well fitted bathroom and a most comfortable bed. There were little touches...

We have eaten here a few times over the years and never had a bad experience, we were looking for somewhere quiet & friendly for a Sunday afternoon and chose here. We couldn't have made a better choice. The girls serving were very polite and cheerful, the food just hit the spot. We both had the roast lamb and were...

Just spent a night at this b&b whilst visiting a friend's wedding. The rooms are all newly refurbished to a very high standard. Lovely bed and bathroom with little touches that you'd normally expect from a much pricier chain hotel. Breakfast was included and was delicious with a wide range of cooked to order options. I simply cannot fault either...

We stayed for one night to visit nearby Canterbury. Staff were friendly and the check in process was very easy. Stayed in the newer rooms separate to the pub which were pretty new and finished to a high standard. Walls were perhaps a little thin although maybe our neighbour could have turned their tv down a touch. Breakfast was lovely,...

I am always disappointed when I book a room and discover it is external to the main building. I also dislike being given a room for disabled guests. The shower curtain needed cleaning. I requested a quiet room and was given one next to the pump room ! constant noise all the time. I did leave a complaint with the...

Used to come here years ago, was passing so stopped for lunch. We had burgers which were tasty, its shepherd neame which would not be my first choice for real ale but it was well kept and good variety. We were well looked after. No rush to stop you eating after 2pm like a number of places. Great spot in...

Stayed for one night enroute to visit friends! We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms looked great on their web site and we were not disappointed. Fantastic friendly staff. Great restaurant. Lots of character details. Will definitely stay in the future.

Great position for exploring Kent, overnighting before the channel tunnel, or just a quiet getaway. Room was newly refurbished, nice toiletries and bathroom. Starters, mains, a bottle of house red and sparkling water came to £50, food quality good. Bed a little firm for our liking. Great service from Daisy and the rest of the young team. We will return....

Stayed for three nights in October to explore the Kent area. Attractive, quiet location. Very happy with the accommodation (we stayed in the stable block which has just been refurbished, small but cosy room). There was plenty of attention to detail during our stay which made us feel welcome. The food was very good, not a big menu but freshly...
