We arrived early but our room was ready, we had a double room with shower. The room was very clean with a very comfy bed. The shower cubicle was large and a powerful shower. The staff were all helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was cooked to order, also toast and cereals. We visited Leeds Castle as it opened on the Sunday...

My wife and I went there. Probably the best way to describe it would be "cheap and cheerful". Having said that, there were 4 choices of meat, beef, pork, gammon & turkey. All the meat was very tasty and the vegetables were fine. They do child & pensioner portions too. We would certainly go back. If you want a basic...

Arriving at the Roebuck Inn at 21:15 we checked in at the noisy bar. The barmaid who dealt with us was unsmiling and not particularly welcoming. Food was advertised but when we enquired we were told it was not available. The access to the room was uninviting and dingy and the room was massively disappointing. Two single beds in a...

Thursday night quiz good, unfortunately only one member of staff for both bars meant slow service. Single room ok, clean and bed comfy, radiator not on and wouldn't work. Room next to a boiler that hummed along with what sounded likes chiller going on and off. Half size bath and a shower attachment - very powerful water pressure though !...

Went in to eat and the service was terrible. There was a young lad behind the bar called 'Corby' i think his name was. He was rude, very slow, he mumbled and he was smoking a E-cigarette behind the bar while he was supposed to be working, disgusting and not professional. We will think twice about going here again until...

Sadly a pub that could be amazing is getting worse! There is just no atmosphere, the lady owner is miserable. She walked by us waiting for a pint and rudely said the other person will serve us. We used to eat and drink regularly in the pub but have now stopped eating there and soon I fear we will stop...

I stopped here while walking North Downs Way. Some recent reviews were offputting, so I was expecting the worse but actually found it a really good place to stay. My room (room 6) could indeed do with a new carpet because of staining, presumably caused by previous guests, but it was as clean as it could otherwise be, as was...

Stayed here while visiting in the village. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had lunch and breakfast here, which were both good. They had a vegetarian choice for full breakfast, which is always a good thing. I would stay here again

Lovely, friendly staff but the accommodation very disappointing. The room was supposedly deluxe. This it certainly was not! The carpet was badly stained as was the side of one of the divan bed bases. Both beds were missing valances. The bed looked like it had been made by someone wearing a blindfold and my duvet cover was inside out. One...
