My wife, sister, brother-in-law and I took my mother here for a Sunday lunch treat. We were all made very welcome and the staff were very kind & pleasant and did not keep interrupting our meal as with some places. All of the courses that we ordered were presented in wonderful ways that we were not expecting and the sweet...

Berwick Lodge on the outskirts of Bristol is relatively conveninent if you're coming down the M5 but it is quite difficult to find/get to, even with Satnav. We went there for a business lunch shortly before Christmas & whilst the setting is nice the car parking is messy & some distance from the hotel particularly in the rain. The dining...

Dear Chris, Thank you for your feedback on your Christmas lunch at Berwick Lodge. I am sorry that you were disappointed with your lunch. Over the Christmas period we had a fine-dining menu to suit the time of year, this included traditional dishes such as Turkey and Treacle Tart. As well as this lunch menu, we do offer an extensive...

We have ate at Berwick lodge twice now and will be again In a couple of days, the food is absolutely amazing you have to try it. The head chef is always creating brilliant combinations. I love ordering from the menu as you get little treats like amuse Bouche and pre dessert. The rooms are so interesting, all of them...

Berwick Lodge is a lovely building but it is a devil to get to. Steep narrow track with not enough passing places. Impressive reception, nice lounge but rather stark restaurant if you are unlucky enough to be seated in there. It's all quite nice and the staff are polite and efficient if not particularly friendly. The problem is the tea...

Thank you for feedback on your afternoon tea Karen P, I'm so disappointed to read your review. The sandwiches are made fresh every day so I can't understand why your bread would be stale, but this isn't acceptable so I apologise. Perhaps the scones had been in the oven for too long the day you came, something I'll feed back...

Last night was our second dining experience at Berwick Lodge. We were so delighted that after raving about the food and great service to our dear friends who accompanied us this time, that they were not disappointed in any way. We all had this seasons new tasting menu which just got better and better as the courses progressed. As my...

My wife and I had dinner on NYE our booking was easy and a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was gentle we dinned at 8.30pm entered the dinning which was pleasantly Christmassy, not over the top. We enjoyed our meal and the service and will go again. After our meal we sat by a lovely log fire and very nice evening

Thanks to Sarah at Berwick lodge for looking after us so well for my birthday, and thanks to Paul O' Neill @ Hattusa for the stunning food as usual! A proper 5 star hotel with a least 3 rosette or Michelin standard food at 2 rosette prices! The staff are unobtrusive and attentive, the room was clean and warm
