We stayed for one night and the staff we're all polite and friendly. The B and B is over a pub but we could not hear any noise. The carpark is free and seems quite safe, it is near a bus stop where you can get a bus into Brighton. The room was spacious and well equipped and the breakfast...

Clean and well run. Spent only one night there but the staff was friendly and we had no complaints. So many places in England seem to have parking issues, but this isn't one of them. If you are traveling by car you won't find anything more convenient. Situated at the head of the cliff walk you can walk down to...

My Husband and I choose to stay here as it was close to a weekend jazz festival that we were attending. The hotel is right by the sea The staff are all extremely friendly but boy are the waiting staff slow. Breakfasts 1and 2 of 4 were slow in coming to me and cold.On our first morning I ordered scrambled...

Have just returned from a two night stay at the White Horse and we had a fabulous time. We paid a little extra for a room with a view and although our confirmation said 'town view ' we had a lovely sea view... We were on the ground floor and OK the car park was in front of us but...

The White Horse Hotel restaurant was always the chosen venue for my sister in law,(who lives nearby in Woodingdean,) However, in September 2015 the restaurant service was particularly slow with the consequence of my incurring a £100.00 parking penalty from "Parking Eye" for exceeding the time shown on my ticket by TWELVE MINUTES.Despite two e mails to The White Horse,...

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for a family wedding. The location of this hotel was excellent the rooms were spotless clean. Views amazing. Only downside was service in restaurant, waited 40 mins on first morning for breakfast and unfortunately on the Sunday my meal eventually came, 40 mins passed and husband still had no dinner?. His order was...

Stayed for four nights, room comfortable and clean. Comfy beds with crisp white linen. Nice sea view from the balcony. Could be a bit noisy at night, but as it is a bar as well as a restaurant that was only to be expected. Breakfasts were very good with good choice of cold buffet, and hot cooked to order. Bar...

We stayed for 2 nights and were given a family room with sea view. The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed including a small balcony. The people were friendly and the food in the restaurant was lovely although service could be a little slow at times. The view was lovely and it was very handy for...

First visit to this hotel, built in the 1930's. Did not know what to expect, having read some of the reviews previous visitor's had posted. Have to admit, initially I was not too impressed with the staff in the restaurant on the first evening, in that they appeared to be disorganised. However, the meal was very good and from then...
