There s no doubt that this hotel has seen better days, if you are fussy about modern bathrooms or fresh smelling carpets then this isn't for you BUT :
1) location is fantastic, away from noise and traffic of Brighton but really easy access
Stayed here for one night. Overlooking sea spectacular views. Nice hotel. Good size room. Good decent size breakfast and friendly attentive staff. Typifies Old English Inns. Good 3 star hotels always value for money.

Hi Dawn, if you are staying at the hotel then on arrival you give reception your registration plate details(number plate), they then key this into a machine and it stops you getting a parking ticket. However the last time we stayed at the hotel our number plate details were entered incorrectly and we got a parking ticket notification come through the post, it was all sorted out with one phone call to the hotel though. If you are just dining in the restaurant then I don't know the answer to that I would hazard a guess that you have to pay and display. Hope this helps. Sue
