Chef and the Brigade certainly know how to cook but it would appear that some short comings in explaining menu dishes to Restaurant staff so that they can confidently describe dishes to guests.

Since September 2015 my husband and I have been regular guests at this wonderful hotel.
We stay 3 nights each time and it includes dinner and breakfast. For an extra £10 each per night we upgrade to a suite above the spa called Lavender.

There is no dress code as such but the food and service is very nice and having eaten there many times I would suggest smart casual. If you want something more relaxed book a table in the bar. You can get the same food but... More
